Their sandwiches are wonderful. They have an interesting smattering of fresh meal items but mostly chips and canned stuff. My biggest complaint is at least 50% of the time the liquor is mismarked and overcharges you example $ 29 for a small bottle of Roses Lime juice that is expired? Really? Pay attention! The store could have been set up more efficiently the sandwhich counter is awkward and always backed up. The chili is amazing as are all sandwiches. The deli staff very friendly but the cashiers are pretty apathetic. Come on you are charging highway robbers prices act friendly for Gods sake. When they gave wine tasting events beware some of the local wine tasters get pretty obnoxious and yell out comments at customers. They need an in store manager me thinks!

Convenient local market that probably carries what you are in need of getting without having to run to Safeway. Pretty good sandwiches and salads, decent wine selection, and an amazing variety for a little store.

These other reviewers have no idea. This place has the ONLY Tri Tip sandwich around and it is definitely not the best. I’ve had the Tri Tip 10+ times and it is just meat, nothing special sometimes tasting questionable. The bread, toppings are fresh but the Tri tip is so in consistent and have honestly never said«Wow this is good». Why do I continue getting a mediocre sandwich? Cause I want to throw something in my stomach before swinging a golf club for 4 hours and I didn’t eat elsewhere. Decent selection of food items, chips, wine, sodas, local baked goods(probably the best thing in market). Deli Counter Salads — highly questionable as you have no idea how old they are(just like the dry ass looking meat on dIsplay). IMO this store does not have the foot traffic to support the turnover. Bruno’s Market — If I were Bruno’s I’d either disassociate with this place as it is No where Near what Bruno’s delivers on or do some quality control. Staff is friendly and mostly young kids/adults. A solid 2.5 star spot.

What a surprise to find this nice small market with some very good quality foods and wines and at fair prices! Hurrah!

So glad we finally have a local Corral market with normal owners and staff! Absolutely obsessed with the remodel on the building and love that they have wine tasting every Friday! Best breakfast burritos around! If you’re in a hurry, stop here for pretty much anything you need, food/drink wise, on the go. The staff is always very helpful but I’m a little biased because I’ve grown up with most of the employees. They have an awesome selection of local gourmet foods which is great because it’s so hard to find anything that local other than at our weekly Farmer’s Market in downtown Monterey. Wine, sandwiches, snacks, you name it. Stop in and check it out!

It’s hard to give stars for different components about this place. The first time I came here, I was greeted with friendly smiles. Always a big plus. I got a roast beef sandwich on sour dough. While it was being made, the guy explained that the new owners also own Bruno’s in Carmel. How cool! I grew up in Carmel and have always liked their tri-tip. The next time I stopped here, I needed a grocery item. The clerk was texting, I was ignored while perusing, didn’t find what I needed. The third time I stopped here, the service was better. I got the brisket sandwiches that people raved about. I wish I had bought the chicken, which seemed a little expensive but a friend I bumped into said it’s really good. The sandwiches were okay, but the brisket looked like it had been sitting under heating lamps a bit long. I love«burnt ends» but these looked like«dried ends». FIVESTARS to the customer this particular time, because my sandwich maker was friendly and very helpful. My husband, who is from Kansas City, thought the sandwich was good… but it’s nowhere close to Salinas City BBQ. The selection of meats is very minimal, though there’s some quality prosciutto and Italian sandwich meats and a sparse selection of cheeses. One of my pit stops was hoping they had ground beef for sale. Nope. Maybe in the future? If you like wine, then I’m sure you can find something right here. Nice selection of beer, which we do like. The three stars is only because I’m not über impressed with the sandwiches, but don’t dislike them. Customer service is spotty– some days very helpful and friend, others kinda of so-so. I appreciate being able to pop in here if I need to pick up basic things, like a basic vegetable I’m out of, canned beans, chips or sandwiches. I think the sandwiches are good– not earth shattering– but good. It’s nice to see a privately owned business thrive off busy Highway 68.

I pass this place every morning on my way to work. I’ve always wanted to stop, just never had the time. Well, today was the day. I stopped in and bought a few of their BBQ sandwiches. 1st: Plain Tri-Tip Sandwich(only bread and meat) My thoughts: Tri-Tip was sliced very thin, nice bark on it, meat was well done(no pink whatsoever), great smoke taste, didn’t really taste any additional seasoning. 6⁄10 2nd: Plain Tri-Tip Sandwich with BBQ sauce My thoughts: same as above, but the BBQ was quite good. Sauce is a bit tangy, nice pairing with the meat. Tip: ask them to put extra sauce on your sandwich. 7⁄10 3rd: Plain Brisket Sandwich with BBQ sauce(yes, I saved the best for last) My thoughts: Great brisket, soft, tender, minimal tug on the bite, cooked damn near perfect.(until I try more of their BBQ, this is sandwich of choice) 8⁄10 The meat is piled high on all these sandwiches. Meat to bread ratio is spot on! They also have the ability to make it how you want it, think of «Subway» options, they have it here. Each sandwich is $ 7.50, a bit pricey, but very convenient if your driving on 68. Enjoy! #KCCO

Easy way of getting a nice dinner without cooking … If you can get by the random fly every now and again this really is a nice little store. The coffee needs some work but the sandwiches and meat selections make up for that… The parking is limited but if you can get a spot you won’t regret stopping.

Great freshly prepared foods! The grocery is small so selection is limited, but I think you can find most things you need to cook if you aren’t committed to a certain brand. Nice wine and beer selection. Very clean and bright. We enjoyed two espresso drinks as well. If we lived nearby we’d shop here frequently.

We stumbled upon Corral on our way back home — what a find! DELICIOUS and LARGE sandwiches, and very yummy desserts. Great variety of items in the market as well.

Nice to be able to pick up a sandwich or cheese & crackers(great selection). Nice wine and beer options. You have to try Jerry’s brisket! Love the brisket sandwich topped with coleslaw.

Corral Market is a great new addition to the neighborhood. For many reasons it has quickly become one of my regular stops. The staff and the atmosphere are friendly and welcoming. The large selection of craft beers caught my eye first, but soon realized there was an extensive selection of wine, liquor and food items as well. Probably best of all though is their freshly made sandwiches, there are lots of choices, but do not miss out on the tri-tip sandwich. I am happy to say I am a big supporter of the new Corral Market and Deli.

OMG! Brisket is by far better than any in St. Louis, Kansas City, Dallas, Houston or Austin! Being the purest I had just the brisket with nothing other than the meat on the softest torta roll ever. Every bite was truly amazing! Can not wait to go back! Hurray for someone really and finally getting it right at this little market. Good for them!

Kona Jerry makes the best BBQ and sides too. The coleslaw is really good, actually best I have ever had. Excellent customer service from all the employees.

Try Kona Jerry’s grilled Meats. Jerry is warm and friendly and turns BBQ meats into a savory wonder. He does BBQ chicken, ribs, and brisket and the flavor had me coming back for more. He also does great side dishes and take out meals. Jerry is a great addition to this little market. Stop by and try some of his BBQ!

Beautiful and NEWLY opened Corral Market & Deli is under new management which makes the shopping experience ever so delightful! They have the coolest and most unique grocery items giving this establishment a ‘Whole Foods’ feel without«Whole Paycheck» prices. They have a nice array of prepared food items as well as a fresh made-to-order sandwich bar. They even have Carmel’s BBQ legend Kona Jerry grilling up fresh meats on a giant grill adjacent to the store. My favorite part is the vast assortment of Italian grocery items as well as the HUGE and very well thought out wine and liquor selections. And of course no deli is complete without the cool beer which they have many types to choose from. The owner, who also owns Bruno’s Market of Carmel, is a family man who cares about the community and you can tell when you walk into this warm and inviting store. This is the BEST thing to come to Corral de Tierra in ages. Way to go Corral Market & Deli!
