Don’t judge this local taco joint by its cover. My car was hungry and so was I. Perfect mix of fuel for my car and myself. The chicken quesadilla was delicious! I’m glad I read the current reviews and didn’t pass on this tasty lunch option.

Stopped at this «little dive» tonight for supper, because I read a lot of good reviews on Unilocal!I’ll have to agree, it was very tasty, you definitely got your money’s worth and the staff is very friendly. I’ll for sure stop again.

It’s attached to a gas station but don’t let that deter you. The restaurant was neat and clean. My husband had a burrito and I ordered two pork tostadas. Both dishes were very flavorful with the perfect proportion of ingredients. We loved the salsa as well. Definitely stopping by the next time we drive through.

We were passing through Salina and stopped because of freezing rain. My wife and I were hungry and wanted to eat so we checked out Unilocal for something close and seen some good reviews for Taco Master. We decided to check it out and were not disappointed. Remember you can’t go by building appearance when dining. Because we all have eaten at gas station\restaurant and been sorry for it. We will not be sorry here. The place was clean and the food was great along with the price. I had the street tacos and my wife had the Kevin Chimichanga. Both meals were plenty to eat and delicious. I would recommend this place to anyone.

We were just here Sat, Oct the 3rd for my daughters birthday. I had the pork green chili it was amazing. The portion sizes are HUGE and my pork green chili had obviously been made with love. I could eat it by the bucketful it was rich and savory and so delicious. I brought both my daughters. We waited about 10 mins for our food. It was all fresh hot and beyond tasty. My youngest daughter found her way over to the Mexican ice cream and delighted herself with a scoop of coconut ice cream for a buck. Great little place. Full of flavor and fresh food made to order. You must try!

We tried this place when we stopped for gas on our way to Wichita. There was no one in the place when we entered, and thought about turning around, but we’re happy that we decided to give it a try. Everything was very good. It was taco Tuesday so we ordered a couple of those, a gordita, and their #1 burrito all surprisingly well prepared. Interestingly, by the time we finished our meal, the tables were filling up and their was a line at the counter. Obviously the locals know where to find good Mexican food… it was a lucky find and we’ll be back next time we pass through that part of Kansas.

For authentic Mexican food, this is the place! Food has been fresh and tasty every time I’ve been here. Best guacamole I’ve ever had — I could eat tubs of it. I’m a big fan of their carnitas — always hits the spot. Soft or crunchy, corn or flour — all equally delicious for so cheap! When I have it to go, they always give me extra salsa (red or green). This place is definitely worth the trip off a beaten path.

Dollar tacos on Tuesdays are the best deal in town. Staff is always understaffed and run with the bare minimum. Some of the staff is pretty rude. The dollar tacos are worth it though.

Driving through KS on our way to Dallas. We love Mexican food and figured we’d give Taco Master a try based upon reviews and we were not disappointed! Tacos are delicious!!! We tried the crunchy and soft tacos and they were the best tacos I’ve had! We tried the chicken and beef… so full of flavor. The rice was good too! Chips are homemade

I went 2 days in a row it was that delicious! The soft corn tacos are delicious along with the burrito!
It is in a gas station but that doesn’t take away from its deliciousness!

Found Taco Master on Unilocal and glad we did! Al pastor soft corn tacos were excellent, and the hard shell variety were quite good as well. Service was outstanding — all of the employees were extremely friendly and courteous. Chips and salsa to start the meal were a great touch, and the entire experience will surely bring us back.

I went three days in a row here. Great food and the workers are super friendly. If you leave there hungry, it’s your fault. Try the burritos, you won’t be disappointed. If you like spicy, ask for the EXTRA HOT sauce they keep out of reach of novices. this will be my regular stop next time I’m in Salina.

A MAZ ING!!! Who would have thought there was a GREAT Mexican food place connected to a little nondescript gas station in Salina??? Definitely a «come as you are» type of place. The pork green chili was good and once I poured some queso and salsa on the burrito #1, I was in heaven! Everything is made from scratch. The restrooms and seating area was very clean. Will definitely be coming back!

Update: vegans can get Cali Burrito with no meat, no cheese and no cream, add guac. Wow.
1. These guys made me a wicked awesome vegan taco (x2). Every time I am in Salina, I will eat here.
2. Attention Salina Bankers! Can you please eat at this place, and then note the 5 star Unilocal rating (which is hard to get), plus reviews claiming this is the most authentic Mexican food in Salina? THEN, can one of you mucky mucks Please bank roll a loan for these guys to move out of their current location (in a gas station) and into a nice shiny new kitchen/​dining room? I mean, what does it say about Salina as a town if some of the best food is dispensed from a gas station? It’s just not NICE. And it kind of scares the tourists away. I expect your loan ROI to be good since these guys know how to cook.
