Not the case at Salina Regional Health Center cafeteria in Salina. I come here mainly for the salad bar; It’s always fresh and quite frankly the best in Salina. Trust me on this. .as a vegan I’ve tried every known salad bar. I like it over Dillon’s because the items are consistently fresh and it is very affordable. Salad is paid per weight but today I had a large salad, baked potato, and natural Sarsaparilla root beer for a grand total of $ 5.78.
The cafeteria is open 7 days per week but I will warn you on the weekends the salad bar is only half the size as it is through the week.
Recently they’ve also added nutritional info boards above different food options to help consumers make informed choices.
