Do not stop here! My husband and son stopped here to put gas in our car on the way from Colorado to Missouri. They charged an additional $ 150 on top of the cost of the gas. This was a credit card charge, not a debit charge so there’s no reason to hold an additional amount. Our credit card company said the charge will drop off after a couple of days, but we will never stop there again and I’ll tell everyone I know about this.

Why is this place never clean? Bathrooms, dirty. Lobby, dirty. Makes me gag just walking through.

Great customer service — not! after getting a shower I wanted to get a coffee and something to eat. None of the food looked appetizing, so I went to the counter to pay for coffee. Waited ten minutes holding my bags and coffee cup when I finally yelled. ‘Does anyone work here?’ A female came and told me I was standing at the wrong place to check out, that no one was working that side of the counter. How would I know where someone was working? There was no one working ANY side of the counter. When I paid she unable to get a receipt for some reason, so I have a feeling I paid for complaining. It’s weird they weren’t at the counter when it was time to check out, because there were two people standing there when I walked in making comments about the drivers as they walked in. Needless to say… not impressed.

Cean, friendly staff, nice selection of grab & go food, perfectly adequate selection of necessities (we needed antihistamine), and the usual good coffee. I loved the wall hooks in the ladies’ room – most roadside rest rooms have nowhere to put your coat when you are washing your hands!

Every time we come here it smells like DIRTY mop heads and there’s piles of swept up dirt everywhere, like no one can find the dust pan. Ate once at Max’s, and it was good, or I was really hungry? Was gonna eat there this morning, but the smell in the ladies room almost made me puke so… mot gonna eat here. There’s a Petro on the other side of the freeway and we’re heading over there. I don’t think they have cleaning supplies to use because it smells bad and the people who work here just got used to it???

Not many choices of gas out here in the middle of Kansas, but it is a good mid point that offers more than just gas ²⁴⁄₇. This place is well lit which is a big plus in the middle of the night. With truckers fast asleep and parked nicely lined up nearby, one would still be quick to gas up though. But if you need anything beyond gas, you’re likely to find it inside. You’ll find similar items here that you’d find at a convenience store from fresh fruit, drinks, cough medicine, books, snacks, hot and cold food, and even bathrooms amenities. There’s even a small arcade inside should the kids wanna play games while you peruse the isles or play your hand at the slot machine. But who would leave their kids to play in there anyways?
Well, there’s not much to say about this place other than it is well lit and is a convenient mid-​point for gas. Tonight it was priced as $ 3.469 (89).
