Seeing as my review was moved to not recommended, I will post it again! Went in 8 minutes until closing, thinking logically, oh they can make a sandwich before they close,(it’s not like it needs to be heated or anything like that, they are just going to assemble a cold sandwich). The owner came from behind counter and said«we are closed». Then about a minute later he kicked out the group of people that were in there, as they were coming out they looked pretty ticked off. To me shutting down before you say you close is not only poor business, it is just plain lazy. On a previous visit here I went in to get my free sub, because my card was full, and was charged $ 1. I LOVE Mr. Goodcents, but will never eat at this one again!

I’ve been to many Mr. Goodcents and this is the worst of the worst. Bread was not fresh, meat and veggies were skimpy and absolutely no thank you or anything. It was 12:45 on a Thursday and there wasn’t a single person there. I should have taken that as a clue. Will never go back to this location again.

Fresh bread, fairly inexpensive sandwiches, lots of toppings and friendly owners. These are the most important details that you need to know about this Mr. Goodcents location. Jimmy John’s and Subway aren’t nearly as fresh or as satisfying.

It’s OK. My biggest complaint is not being charged correctly. I ordered the Ultimate Club, a $ 8.59 sandwich and my total came to $ 9.65 after tax. I didn’t get an itemized receipt so Idk where the extra charge came from. I also ordered a sandwich with mozzarella and he starts putting Swiss on it. I told him no Swiss I wanted mozzarella and he tells me they are out. How about you tell me that in the first place. Also asked for salt and pepper and got all the sodium I need for the next week. However I would like to know the tax rate in Salina since I got a charged a 12.3% tax rate on my $ 8.59 sandwich. Why did I leave a dollar tip? I didn’t realize I was being overcharged until I sat down and thought about. Probably won’t be back here next time I’m in town. Food was ok but way way too much salt. I probably shouldn’t have asked for it. I mean my lips are burning a bit from the salt because I didn’t order peppers. Also the toilet doesn’t work. Enjoy my present I left you.

Goodcents is Way better than subway! Fresh made to order sub’s while subway only offers only 6 or 12inches. Goodcents offers 8,16 or 24in sub’s and who says size didn’t matter. I say the bigger the better! Cost a little more but its well worth it! Yumo!

As far as I am concerned, it doesn’t get much better than this for a basic sub sandwich. The bread is pillowy soft, baked in house, and just delicious. The meat and cheese is sliced to order. And the veggies are fresh and crisp. I like that they load your sandwich up with plenty of vegetables and just the right amount of meat. I never feel cheated here when it comes to the toppings. Plus, the 18″ size of the sandwiches means I get two satisfying meals, instead of either overindulging on the 12″ or not eating enough with the 6″. They don’t do anything that is really out of the ordinary(except that they also serve decent pasta dishes), but I’ll take a Goodcents sub to a Subway one any day.
