I had the best experience in finding my wedding dress at Sposa Atelier! I made an appointment for a Saturday morning, and brought along my mom and sister-in-law. When we first showed up, there was only one person working, and she was finishing up a purchase transaction with another bride. So, she let us go into the bridal room and pull any samples that appealed to me while she finished up. Let me say that I much prefer bridal salons that let you go through their dress collection yourself. I have a very specific aesthetic, but once in awhile something completely different will strike me, so I like being able to see all the dresses myself to pull whatever I like. It was really nice that I had the freedom to do this. I was a bit concerned at first because their collection didn’t seem very big, and I wound up pulling only 4 dresses to try on, one of which was sooo not my style, but I wanted to try it on for fun. Since we were the only appointment there, we were attended to with 5-star service, though I never found out the woman’s name that helped us! She was petite and blond, and was very helpful in helping me zip up and complete the look with veils, headpieces, shoes, etc. We wound up staying there for almost 2 hours and felt no pressure to buy, and I could walk around in each dress for as long as I wanted while I contemplated each one. It was a relaxing experience, which is hard to come by when you’re buying a wedding dress. Every other time I’ve gone dress shopping, I’ve gotten overwhelmed with the process. As it turns out, the owner of the salon is in the process of designing her own gown collection, so they are not ordering any new dresses, but I think they are trying to clear out their current samples. Because of this, EVERYTHINGIS50% OFF, including bridal gowns, mother-of-the-bride dresses, and their small but cute bridesmaid selection! This was not promoted, but was an amazing surprise! The best part of our visit is that I found my dream dress and got it for half off! I walked out of the studio with my bridal gown that day!

I had a terrible experience here. The employee working, Debbie, treated me and my bridesmaids like crap. She was extremely rude and not helpful. She refused to let one of the bridesmaids try on a wedding gown. As soon as another bride came in to try on a bridal dress she completely ignored us for the rest of the time we were there and did not even say goodbye when we left. The bridesmaid dresses are completely overpriced — I found the same exact dresses for $ 50 below what they were going for at the store. It makes me wonder how overpriced the bridal dresses and the veils are. Debbie was terrible and should be fired. I would not recommend this boutique if you want to be treated with civility.
