If you are lucky enough to find out when the South Salem Culinary Arts Program has their «Bistro Night» you will be in for a real foodie treat. What waits for you is a fixed price menu of several courses designed by Chef and the South Salem HS Culinary students.
I have had the pleasure of dining in what can truly be one of Salem’s best dining experience on two separate occasions. Both times the Menu included two entrees, two desserts and creative starters, soups and salads. The best part of the dining experience is that you can be your own «Iron Chef» judge and provide useful feedback to the students on each course. If you like a «Chef’s Table» experience where you are part of the foodie learning process then this is it! The servers are the students themselves which so far has translated into an impeccable level of service. I am looking forward to the next time. I would rather keep this an underground secret, but something this fun needs to be shared. Keep up the good work!
