I miss the old sidelines. I arrived to plenty of seats at the bar and 7, yes 7 people behind the bar. The polished concrete floor just adds to an already loud atmosphere. It took a solid five minutes before I was asked if I wanted a drink, mind you seven people behind the bar with about 16 customers. I had to flag one of the seven down to get a menu, and then sat for fifteen long minutes before anyone asked if I would like to place an order. I say again, I miss the old sidelines, disappointed.

What an experience! On Super Bowl Sunday this place was great to watch the big game– so many TVs. I ordered the chicken parm pizza, which was really good. Just the right amount of cheese and sauce. Had to try there’re wings because everybody raves about em. There’re right– Delish. The place is super clean and the staff is very friendly. Reasonably priced. Overall had a great time. The place is under new management. They did a great job revamping the place, looks great. All new tvs, looks a lot brighter inside too. My go to spot for sports game action. They got Keno too!

Sidelines is under new ownership and open for business! What’s great about a bar? Well-made, reasonably-priced drinks, attentive(but not overly so) service, distractions, and — if you’re lucky — good food. Oh and a credit card option of course. Sidelines checks all the boxes: full bar, great bartenders, about 800 TVs, arcade games, and a full menu of killer food. Tried the onion rings(they’re homemade)… They could derail my diet in about 4 seconds. So good. The atmosphere is fun, the renovations are perfect; they upgraded the whole place without losing the essence. Love the fact that there is so much seating at the bar — there have to be 30+ chairs around the huge, centerpiece bar area. Plenty of dining tables if you want to come with a group. Highly recommend any night of the week for a casual meal and/or drinks.

My girlfriend and I went there Wednesday night @ 6:30 P.M. somewhat busy we were able to find room at the bar after we asked two guys nicely to please move over they were cool about it… the woman bartender came over very polite we ordered drinks then food 5 minutes later the food so, so, i had a hamburger with fries asked pleased to make the hamburger well done just to make sure it was cooked… it was still pink on the inside… but i was hungry and they say sometimes it’s not a good idea to complain about your food having to go back to the kitchen. The two woman bartenders were nice the one thing i did like was we didn’t have to chase them if we wanted refills or something else some places you have to send up a flare and you still never see them! The place has a lot of TVs which is great! but could use some updating.

Honey BBQ wings were the best around! The sandwiches were average, onion rings were not great but the beer was cold

Came at 5pm on a Saturday to have a couple drinks and some food. First of all the bartender, who was serving the entire restaurant was great. Friendly and made sure we had drinks in front of us. We came expecting a great place for wings and apps and were a little disappointed. Both our wings and bbq chicken potato skins seemed undercooked. and much was past being ready but we still found cold food. I see that they’ve recently offered a deal on Amazon local. I would recommend having a better kitchen staff with more support in the dining room. I’d look forward to coming back to that restaurant.

Rude bartenders. Gross food. Way overrated… if you want a wing night go to murphy’s or buffalo wild wings. Smells musty and the food gives me a stomach ache. Seriously just go to the tin whistle if you want a bar near salem state.

Food is okay … Credit card machine never works!!! So you’re forced to pay fees to withdraw from an ATM in the location.

Cheap beers and solid food. Best wings in the area by a land slide.

I love sidelines, their food has improved a lot since I started going there, its a good sports bar, good for wings and a beer. Its kind of tight inside so if you want to dance you should go somewhere else, the staff is always really nice, its a solid sports bar.

For a local sports bar you can’t do too much better with decent expectations. It won’t blow you away with ambiance or decorated dishes but good comfort bar food and drinks at good prices.

My friend made one request before we went out to eat over the weekend — that we not go to a place that had a musty/stale beer scent. I failed him the second we walked in the door. I was ultimately hypnotized by the amount of televisions — they have a TON, but the place is set up very poorly. Every table has a 32 inch TV next to it, but it’s literally right above the table, so you’d break your neck trying to watch the TV above your table. I’d say there’s 2 – 3 tables(not including the bar) that would give every patron a strong viewing experience. The food was the epitome of average. If my buddies and I opened our own restaurant and we tried to reproduce Applebees quality food, I imagine this is how it would come out. My turkey burger was likely a frozen packaged turkey burger from the grocery store that was made in the microwave — it actually held zero taste, which is amazing if you think about it. I consumed an absolute tasteless piece of meat. That’s wild to me. I didn’t have a terrible experience, but I’ll definitely never come back if it requires me spending my own money.

Went here one Sunday because they have the NFL ticket, what a dump. Based on the 20 yr old, dusty framed picture of Drew Bledsoe in the men’s bathroom, it’s obvious they don’t give a shit. This place has Bar Rescue potential.

This place USED to be amazing, I used to be a dedicated patron coming to wing night every Tuesday and the place was packed, and sometimes would come more than once a week, now the place is goin down hill, wings are dry all of the time, other food doesn’t even taste good, raise the price on their wing night so it’s basically the same price as ever other night, the staff never stays the same and no one is at wing night anymore or at any time for that matter. Sad to see this place go down, save your money and go some where else

Sidelines is a pain to get into as their entrance is unique, but my friends and I are semi-requlars there. Service is spotty as there is really no servers there longer than 6 months at a time it seems. Wings are great and daily specials are nice. Beers on tap always come out cold, but overall its a good neighborhood bar that could do much more if it wanted.

Wings are great steak tips good. Service was awful, took 15 minutes just to put in our first drink order. Kitchen had same problem, 1 hour wait for food to come out. It is not really a sports bar if you can’t hear the game because the juke box is to loud. If you want to go to a day Red Sox game and get some wings for lunch then this place is good. I will not be going back for diner though.

Typical Sports Bar Lots of TVs, beer and wings. For a guys night? Fine. But usually I’d rather stay home and watch a chick-flick and drink wine.

Decent food and good drinks. Daily specials. Great place to watch a game, can’t turn your head without looking at a TV. Bathrooms need some work but after a few of their margaritas you won’t care. Be careful on wing night(Tuesday). Place fills up fast

First things first, yes the wings are amazing! There are tons of sauces to choose from and I like them all. Tuesday nights are packed, it’s Wing Night and everybody wants in on the action. Feel free to show up later, that way you don’t take my seat at the bar :) A little hidden drink is the fishbowl, which is phenomenal and affordable(and not on the menu). I know this is a sportsbar and girlie drinks are not what you would think to order, but it’s worth it… don’t judge me! I have never had an issue with the service, and the bartenders are always friendly and attentive. They do refuse out of state licenses, but it doesn’t affect or bother me.
