Happy to see Starla get some well-deserved exposure. I took her a new Filson coat which had sleeves absurdly too long for me and had her shorten them. Starla warned me that it was the season when HS girls were getting graduation dresses altered and she had a large workload. Indeed, she was not able to meet her delivery time and was embarrassed, but I told her to take her time, because Filson garments are expensive. She met the second delivery date and I was completely satisfied with the workmanship. Cost was something like $ 45 which may theoretically be in the $$ category but really, for the amount of intricate handiwork, I thought it inexpensive.

I happened by Starla one day when I was exploring the Reed opera house. I asked her what kinds of things she could do. When she said she could replicate peoples favorite clothing I ran back to my car to get my favorite shirt and asked if she could make more just like it. So far I have had 3 shirts made from her and just took in material to have 3 dresses made! Starla is such a wonderful person and she knows how to do everything with a sewing machine. She is the one you want to go to if you have any clothes that need repaired or if you want unique and fashionable one of a kind clothing!
