Scott was wonderful to work with and got my wife and I pre approved quickly and was on top of things the whole process. Scott was recommended by our realtor and he worked his tail off to get us in a place just over a month. We moved to Salem, OR from Utah at the beginning of this year. My wife and I flew out over thanksgiving and found a house that we wanted to purchase. Our realtor had already put us in contact with Scott before we looked at houses. So when our offer was accepted, he was ready to go to work for us. He did everything for us over the phone and email. He was crunching numbers and taking our phone calls while he was on vacation. We were trying to figure out what kind of loan to take and how much we should put down. Scott came up with several scenarios and went over them with us. When the interest rates changed, he reworked the numbers for us. When the seller delayed our closing date (twice!), he stayed on top of everything and negotiated with the lenders to keep us at the same interest rates we had agreed to.

He saved me lots of money over my prior pre-​approved loan when he found me a lower percentage, cheaper mortgage insurance, and lowered my payments. We recently moved to Salem and were referred to Scott. We needed to close escrow in 30 days and were told by others in Salem that would not be possible. Scott led the charge and provided us with unmatched service. Even though a few hurdles occurred, including many of our financial documents were still in storage, Scott and his team helped us make contact with and obtain the information they needed to secure a loan. In the Winter of 2013, I was talking with a colleague about the process of purchasing a home and how lenders were emailing and calling and wanting to have my business. On our closing day, Scott arrived to witness the closing to help make sure everything was in order, too. I’m not sure if this is the role that mortgage brokers normally take, but we felt in very good hands throughout this process.
