They used to have a really good lunch. And they used to have hey Rocco burger on an awesome roll and it was a sirloin burger and it came with fries and a very good salad and it was very reasonably priced now all they have is fried food there I stopped going there since there’s no point in eating carnival food for lunch I guess the drinks are probably fine they can’t screw that up too bad and if you’re not part of the regular cool crowd be careful and not to bother the barmaid for a refill on your glass of water with lunch

This is my neighborhood bar. I’ve been going for about 9 years off and on. I’ve seen bartenders come and go. My favorite is Tina. If walking in the door and people turning to look who is walking in bothers you or makes you uncomfortable, just know everyone is friendly and most of the same customers have been going the forever. They have pool, juke box and video poker.

Been going to Roccos for years. A couple of the bartenders are super cool. There is a pool table and plenty of VP machines. I appreciate the «divey» atmosphere. Not too divey, but just enough. Good, stiff drinks.

So I’ve been in Salem for work for the past few weeks and stumbled (literally) into Rocco’s on the recommendation of a random guy standing outside of a video lottery place… and I’m so happy I found him!
I can’t comment on the food because I tend to focus on a liquid diet, however they did have a menu and food specials most nights of the week! What I CAN comment on is the great drink prices and incredibly friendly staff/​patrons. Traveling all the time for work can be hard especially when I’m in different cities every week. Everyone at Rocco’s was so friendly and made me feel at home. Tina was my bartender most of the nights I was there and she seriously was great. Drinks are SO cheap– I think I paid $ 2.75 for a pint of IPA which is unheard of, at least in Seattle. Thursday night was ladies night and my first round was BOGO– talk about a deal!
I will definitely be back here when I return to Salem for work.

Wow, you have got to be kidding me. Came for lunch, waitress said «I don’t cook, so you can have fried stuff». Well aren’t you lazy! As she didn’t have time to cook, she conveniently popped out for a cigarette and talk on her cell phone. Why do you have a LUNCH menu if you aren’t going to serve it. Save your time, I had 1 hour for lunch, guess I’m not eating today, mozzarella sticks aren’t exactly lunch.
