They should legally be banned from using the name reliable! If I could give negative stars, I would. They are completely dishonest. After a very long time looking around, cutting a hole in the front of my furnace, asking me over and over if I’m sure we have air conditioning because he literally could not find the coil (did he honestly think I would not know if we have AC or not, for goodness sake! Very insulting.), he couldn’t find anything wrong and was actually laughing when he said we needed a whole new furnace because the heat exchanger was completely rusted out. This is a part you cannot see without taking it apart or using one of those scope cameras. He did neither of those things. So he just flat out lied to get us to buy a whole new furnace. I had a different company come out with a scope camera, who actually looked and said the heat exchanger is totally fine! We have the picture to prove it. He found the problem with little effort and promptly fixed it for a reasonable price. I called «reliable» back and asked for a refund, since they did nothing and lied and then charged us over $ 150.00 for the privilege. The girl who answered the phone was completely rude and said someone would call me back. Of course they did not. I called several times, with the exact same rude results. I also have several friends and coworkers who said they have had the same results. Bad or no service, high prices, and lies. They really should change their name as they have no right to it.

They did not show up in the timeframe they said they would. The first technician was very slow at his work and did not have the right tools tools to service my ac. They sent for a second technician who had the correct tools and charged me for the time it took for him to arrive. They charge fifty dollars per pound of coolant when a twenty-​five pound tank costs fifty dollars its self.

DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY. Their office staff is dumb as a box of rocks and their techs are a close second. They will certainly not go out of their way to get your furnace back running and they think leaving the elderly without heat for a week in the middle of winter is perfectly acceptable. I would give zero stars if I could.

Friendly service. Excessive pricing from the owners. $ 99.05 for a 10mf/​370 Capacitor. $ 307.80 for a blower motor installed. I was ok with the blower price with install, but then felt cheated on the $ 99.05 capacitor. Not the first time to have problems with their pricing. You’d think I learned. I have now.

Excellent service! Friendly staff. Very reasonable! Highly recommended for your heating and cooling needs.
