I had a horrible experience the last time I went to Mill Creek for lunch.
My wife and I wanted to split a salad and the the woman behind the counter added a two dollar split plate charge.
When my wife said she didn’t want to pay for an extra plate (because, really, it was just a salad), the woman said, «I can’t change it, that’s how the system works».
I said, «Ok, she isn’t eating, I just want a salad for myself.»
At that point, the woman got upset and told us that they couldn’t serve us.
At no point was there any profanity or rudeness on any side, but we were astonished, since I’m sure that if I just ordered a salad and she a coke to start with, we would have been fine.
To give them credit, their food is very good, but that level of rudeness isn’t worth dealing with.

Excellent food, and great lunch atmosphere. The prices were somewhat high end, but the quality of food more than makes up for it. I had the chicken cashew sandwich (which they claim is their most popular item), and found it very good, salty and nourishing and savory, and after I ate, I didn’t feel sluggish or weighed down. The chicken tortilla soup was fantastic, not as spicy as I would’ve liked, but full of flavor. They serve coffee flavored beverages, various salads, specialty salads, whole or half sandwiches, and a welcoming and engaging staff that wrap up a really great experience. I will be back for certain.
