Lens Crafters continues to be excellent with their customer care. For the past 10 years, I have purchased my perscription glasses at Lens Crafters, they have always helped me picked out perfect frames for me.

I’ll start off by saying that I love the eye clinic attached to this location. Dr. Fast is so kind to my kids, one of whom is very nervous to have her eyes messed with, and he always makes sure to explain everything clearly and answer any questions.
I’m rating it lower due to the sales woman at the LensCrafters where we purchased my youngest daughters glasses after our appointment. She was attentive, helped us quickly, and had a positive attitude initially. After my teenage daughter looked through ALL of the frames several times and picked her favorite we took them to the sales woman who said, in front of my daughter, «oh, these are very cheap quality, you should go find some that are more expensive, maybe vogue?». I told her my daughter had tried on the frames she liked, it was a very long process, and these were the frames she liked the best. I also asked her if they would brake easily, if they were poor quality, as she said. She told me, «well, you get what you pay for.» in a tone that definitely let me know how she felt. She then tried to up sell me on the lenses and the protection plan, with a disappointed/​irritated look when I passed on both. Honestly, I felt a little embarrassed when I left there. Even though I could afford to purchase which ever frames my daughter had chosen, what if I couldn’t have? What if that was all someone could afford to spend? It seemed really mean, and unprofessional.
My family has been to this location a handful of times and had great experiences with other sales people. For the great clinic and the convenience we will probably go back but I’m crossing my fingers that I get a different sales woman.

I came here 6 months ago… the Vietnamese woman we dealt was was terrible. I firmly new glasses as a birthday gift… for over an hr she kept trying to get us to get a name brand pair of glasses… then when she finally got it through her head that I liked these other glasses that weren’t name brand she says «are you sure you don’t want something nicer and more your age? These are for old people»…first off, that’s incredibly insulting and you’re also assuming I’m really young. She even seemed upset when we told her no we don’t want the other glasses, we want this one. Then she pushed us to get all the extras… she took the joy away of getting these new glasses as a birthday gift… and she also scratched them… we didn’t even leave the store and she said that we didn’t get the insurance for scratches… the ONE thing she didn’t offer us. I got the review and didn’t give her a good score… I asked the store to call me back and each call was from her! She’s not the manager and I refused to talk about my review to her. Moving forward, I came in today because I lost my pair at a restaurant. The woman I dealt with this time was great! I didn’t catch her name but she’s a sweet young Latino woman, she was very helpful and told me about the 99 $ they were having so I didn’t have to spend a lot. She even told me the frames I picked out were cute. She made the experience enjoyable! THIS experience gets 5 stars, the previous gets zero stars so my 3 stars equals it out.

I called, frantic, while in town on business. I had somehow managed to rip my only pair of contacts I had brought with me, and had no way of getting my back up pairs from home. I did, however, have my prescription with me (props to Dr. Jennifer Tran at Portland Eye Clinic for writing precriptions on the back of her business card!).
I called Lens Crafters with only 34 minutes before they closed for the night. Tiara answered the phone, friendly and ready to help. I was able to make it to the store in time and Tiara checked my precription, and handed me over a trial pair of the contacts I needed, no questions asked.
I recently aquired new insurance, and this experience will lead me to doing business with Lense Crafters exclusively for my eye care needs in the future. Fantastic customer service.

Horrible salesman (not professional)
Few collections.
Uncomfortable atmosphere.
I was return customer, and I bought more than 4 frames from LensCrafters (Washington square branch). They have great staff and management in W. S.
However, when I went to salem’s branch, there was only one salesman, and he was not professional and helpful at all.
Not going back to them ever.

The guy who helped us was able to relate to my husband’s larger sized help and the need for COMFORTABLE glasses… My husband was able to be shown glasses that fit his head and that weren’t ugly. The gentleman also was able to get us a great deal!
