Went for a root canal in 2012 and been in pain for two years and I’ve been back many times regarding the same root canal, plus the new crown fell off and was charged to have it put back on. Made my last call in 2015 and was told to go elsewhere and canceled my appointment. I went to another dentist and they took x-rays and found a problem in the same root canal. Then I was referred to another dentist specialist that does root canal therapy and underwent surgery to have the problem fixed. You would think being in pain for two years coming back up there many times they could at least told me to go see a specialist within the six months of pain!!! I HADTRUSTINTHEMALL!!! Plus I was told to live with the pain from them! You do not have to live with pain!!!

The good: the technology used is amazing. I went here because of the«drill-less» dentistry the office totes. This is the single biggest plus for this dentist as the ad is correct. «Most» of the time(and yes, there are times he is not able to use non-traditional tools) the procedure is painless. It is not comfortable, but still, not painful, and if you want a chance to save yourself from the drill, give it a go. The actual tool is a sandblaster which leaves a considerable mess but still better than a drill. Most of the staff is kind and thorough, although there are some issues(discussed below). The office is easy to find, clean and well furnished and the parking is ample. The bad: there is one dentist. One. This means that you will have fifteen seconds, if you are lucky, with that very hurried and rushed dentist. If you are getting a drill-less filling, he will blast(pun intended) right through his work. If he makes a mistake and leaves a portion un-filled, which happened to both myself and several of my friends and family members, you will be asked to return and *pay* for the«repair.» Again, the«repair» isn’t painless, but you will, again, be forced to take off of work/school, sit and wait, have your fifteen seconds in the chair, and hope that he gets it right the second time around, all at additional cost to you. The ugly: beware of the«manager.» The manager will dive on you if you have any payment/insurance problems what-so-ever. You’d better have awesome insurance because if not, she’s demanding that you give her access to your bank accounts so she can take payments as she pleases. Forget any reasonable treatment if you have already paid thousands of dollars for your kid’s braces, etc. She will publicly berate you in front of other customers, inform you that she’d demand in-full payment even if you are homeless(the shocking treatment I witnessed to a mother of two), and then push her clout, insisting that she can’t be bothered with your problems because she’s off to chauffer the doctor’s children around for him(my experience when I asked about Care Credit). Bottom line: if you’ve got fifty bucks your insurance didn’t cover? Watch for this one to come storming out of her office. If you’ve got great insurance and don’t mind telling her to go away, you could be okay.

This dentist is an hour away from where I live. I don’t mind going because Dr. Sorenson gets done in one hour what it takes most dentists a week or more to complete. Today I got a brand new, all porcelain crown there. The crown looks so good, you can’t even tell it is a crown. All of this for less than the cost of a crown at other dental offices. I am very pleased with their high tech office. He also does drill-less fillings and root canals with a laser. I am thrilled! The dentist no longer scares me. Can’t wait to go back in three weeks for the root canal. :)
