Effervescent Salon

About 5 years ago I was shopping for a salon where I could get color, cut and not have to sign away my first born! I called several of the «quick cut» places and they all wanted upwards of $ 120 to do 2 colors! I put out into the social-​universe a need for a decent priced stylist I could depend on. My SIL pointed me in the direction of Rylene — and I have been with her since!
I love the new location of the salon and Rylene is fabu! She will get you worked in within a week of contact — she also works saturdays which is a must for me now that I work. She is great with matching the proper tone of color to your needs and can interpret your vision into a great cut. My teenage girls refuse to go anywhere else.

This is a great salon and I highly recommend it. I went in to get layers and I love the way my hair turned out. Rylene did an amazing job at understanding what I wanted and she was very nice and personable. Also, their prices are affordable; I only spent $ 15 on my hair cut, which is such an awesome deal. I’m definitely recommending this salon and Rylene to everyone!

I have been going to Rylene for 6+ years. I highly recommend having her as your stylist! She’s a very friendly, pleasant stylist that listens to your needs/​wants and will try her best to get the results you want.
The only «negative» thing I could say is that the salon itself, is somewhat hidden, very small but cozy.

I tried the salon out after seeing an ad for first time customers to have cut, color, blow-​dry and style for $ 45. What a good price and super cheap, but it was a special for new customers via their email system. I called and made an appointment with Tiffani for the next afternoon.
Fast forward to the next day… I walk out with my hair wayyyyy shorter than what I asked for (I was VERY specific. I asked for a long bob. Which it is clearly not long by any means. She cut 3.5 inches off my front.) and my color is just okay. She also did not fully blow dry my hair or style as per the coupon, but whatever… I was going straight home. But I was disappointed that it was clearly overlooked.
It was very awkward inside the salon. Tiffani did not appear to want to be doing my hair and I felt a few times like I was interrupting her afternoon. I do not think she meant to give that vibe, as she maybe have been excited it was Friday and had other things on her mind. But I was sure to let her know I was in the market for a new stylist so I was surprised she didn’t offer more small talk or anything. Just not what I have been used to.
I do plan to make another appointment. While it wasn’t the best first attempt, I think that Tiffani does know her color and what she is doing and will be able to achieve what I am looking for in hair color eventually. Also, hair grows, and while I was pretty disappointed to have as much as she did cut off, it isn’t the end of the world. I will be sure and update my review after my next visit, hopefully with 5 stars. :)
