After my garage door was installed for approximately 9 months one of the windows shattered due to the extremely cold weather we had in February. DSI was prompt in processing the warranty claim and replaced the broken one with a new one within two weeks from initial contact. I would highly recommend DSI they have done a great job right from the beginning.

I’ve had DSI come twice now a few years apart for repairs. Both times the person sent out to do the repair was prompt(even a few minutes early), very quick, and clearly concerned with doing the work right. Both times they also took the time to make maintenance recommendations and share knowledge about keeping things in working order. Compared to so many other service calls in other professions that give you an ambiguous time window and make you wait around, or otherwise just do their thing and leave you wondering whether what they did was needed or right, these guys leave no doubt. Anyone in their service area(pretty much all of the North Shore) should feel confident calling them for maintenance. Couldn’t recommend them enough.

This is my first review ever on Unilocal and the reason it because this company were really honest with us when many others have tried to just trick us cause we do not understand much about garage doors. Recently my garage door opener gave out and when I called two other local company they both wanted me to replace the unit at around $ 400+. Now if it was necessary to replace I would have been fine with it but neither company ever opened up unit to check it out. I assumed that they knew what they were talking about from experience. I called DSI service because Lift Master recommended the because of their provantage status which means that they are trained at Liftmaster’s HQ. They estimated me a newer and better model for $ 400 so I made an appnt with them. When they came to the house the guy dismantled the whole thing trying to figure out what was wrong. After roughly 30 mins the guys states that it is the capacitor that burn out and he can replace it. So knowing that I was ready to replace this opener DSI Door Services still went ahead and spent the time to try fix it means that they really care about their customer and not just trying to make as much money as possible. Hopefully I wont be needing their service anytime soon but if i ever have problem with garage door again I’ll make sure to call them.
