The food was ok. Middle of the road sit down Mexican, wasn’t great, but wasn’t bad. Was disappointed when the molcajete was not served in a molcajete. I would recommend trying for lunch Monday to Friday as they have great lunch special deals.
As for food in general, our party had a molcajete, tacos, nachos, quesadilla, and fajitas, and nothing was bad, but nothing was great or beyond your standard sit down place.
If I was reviewing based on lunch special pricing it would be a solid 4

Perfection! Every time we try another Mexican restaurant because of the reviews on Unilocal,we are always disappointed. We are done searching for a better Mexican restaurant in Salem because there isn’t one.
This place has it nailed to a perfection. Its always the same, and always awesome.
We were just passing through Salem and decided to check this place out. The service was quick, lunch prices were fine, food was good! I ordered the lunch enchiladas. Pretty big portion! I couldn’t eat the entire thing. The only downfall was that the cheese inside one of my enchiladas was not melted, but our order came out so quickly I didn’t really mind. The flour tortillas are AMAZING. They’re super thin and big — making burritos was a bit tough, but worth it. Yum!
