This is one of the BEST places to shop. The Studio Girls ALWAYS go above and beyond any other retail shop employee that I have ever dealt with, and I love shopping. But it’s also a great place if you don’t love shopping. My friend hates shopping, so she just lets the Studio Girls do it for her. And she always comes out looking fabulous! Seriously, Debra Herring Studio’s customer service is set apart from any other retail shop in Salem, and (if I may be so bold) Portland. It’s no wonder they’ve won Gold place for «Best of Willamette Valley» like a gillion times.

I stopped in here with some female family members who live in town and happen to just adore this upscale boutique. It is a rare shop that can appeal to a range of ages — I am in my early 30s and was with women in their 50s and 60s. While there are items in the store that may make it appear upon first glance to be a bit kitchsy or skewed to an older crowd, I quickly found things more up my alley — like three dots clothing, adorable polka dotted scarves in mint and yellow and supple handmade leather boots from Jafa (looked like Frye). There is a wide range of prices too, with plenty of pricey items but also on my visit, multiple racks and tables of clearance items outside, in the front and in the back where I found a unique heathered multi-​color thermal cowlneck top marked down from $ 88 to $ 30 and a long black jersey skirt perfect for work or travel marked down to $ 15 (much cheaper and higher quality than a similarly-​styled skirt that I purchased at the Gap last fall). There are gifts, accessories, jewelry, wine purses and charms, locally sourced items, some beauty products and overall a lot to browse. The women working went to great lengths to find something specific that I was looking for that day, and steered me away from things that they knew I wouldn’t like after learning about my tastes. I signed up for their mailing list, even though I no longer live in Oregon, so I would receive the $ 10 off birthday discount coupon! I’m sure I will return here on every visit with my family.

This store is a great place to shop! I got lots of help from the friendly staff finding gifts for the ladies in my life. I chose a beautiful Brighton charm bracelet for my wife and a colorful bamboo scarf for my mother. I will definitely be back to shop here again. Scott

I have been shopping at this boutique for many years. I love the fact that this boutique carries Brighton jewelry, and handbags. The women are knowledgeable of the styles and products that they carry in the store. I buy all my clothes and jewelry here, and because of the award winning service that I receive, every time, I will shop at no other store. Michele B.
