Bella Vie Gentle Birth Center

Such a wonderful team of knowledgable women! The care and personal experience they provide went above and beyond my expectations. With my first born I received prenatal care at a hospital type facility where appointments were rushed and impersonal. The entire disappointing prenatal experience was a prelude to an even more disappointing hospital birth that went the exact opposite of what I had always wanted. The birth of my daughter left me feeling traumatized and I knew that I couldn’t go that route again. I found Bella vie during my search for a better birth experience. I am so glad I found them and now that I have I would never go anywhere else!

Bella vie is AMAZING! The midwives, the birthing center, the care. It all deserves 5 stars. I had my 2 boys at Bella vie and I wouldn’t change anything about their births. Between me and my sister and 3 sisters in law we have had a total of 14 babies at Bella vie or at home with a Bella vie midwife and all of us are very grateful to have this beautiful birth center in our county.

After a tour of the hospital in our area, I realized that the last thing I wanted was another hospital birth. I knew nothing about birth centers, but began my search anyway. One visit to Bella Vie was all it took to convince me that I had found my fit. The staff are all so caring and wonderful! From the administration to the postpartum midwives, each person I encountered took the time to get to know me and my family. My only regret is that I didn’t find them until my last month of my pregnancy. I felt incredibly supported through every step and every decision I encountered. They are a wealth of information and resources. I wish they were pediatricians too so I could stay under their care!

I can’t believe my daughter hasn’t written a review as she LOVES these people! She gave birth to my granddaughter Dec 2013 and everything about the people and facility is perfect. She had a private cozy room with large bed, had a water birth as she dreamed of. The midwives were fabulous, the experience was calm and caring, the woman that does the cooking was my favorite person– I just loved her to pieces. I found Bella Vie while searching for an alternative solution to the hospital birth that I had with my older daughter. The entire experience was night and day different. My prenatal care was far above what I received from my OB during my first pregnancy. My midwife listened and got to know me rather than just assuming since she knew the books, she knew me. When I had crazy morning sickness they approach it with natural solutions and journaled what I at rather than just cramming meds down my throat. I actually looked forward to my appointments! When I had concerns they went above and beyond to make sure my mind was at ease. I felt like they cared rather than feeling like I was shoved in for a 10 minute appointment and hurried out so they could get to the next person. I had my midwife’s cell phone number so when I had concerns I could get ahold of her ²⁴⁄₇. During my VBAC process we came to a point where I had to be taken to the hospital to continue. Even with this change of plans, my birth team accompanied me and acted as a buffer between me and the nurses to keep me on track with what I wanted from my birth. Overall the entire experience was amazing. I loved my birth team, I loved Bella Vie. I couldn’t possibly say enough good things about them. If you’re looking for something that isn’t the cold hospital birth setting, give them a chance, you won’t be disappointed.

I can not be happier with how our experience with Bella Vie turned out. It was a difficult labor (24 hours, posterier baby, 9lb 1oz., 22.5in, au natural) my wife is some sort of superhero. The Midwives were soo good. Trust me when I tell you that had they not been there it would have been C-​Section time for me. Very calm and very attentive, when things were obviously not going by the book they brought in more ladies and stepped up there advice, it was very comforting. The whole time they checked the baby and my wife to make sure they were both healthy. If I kept going on about the birth story this review would run on for pages so I will keep it short and quote a friend of mine, who also had a great experience there.

Everything about this place was amazing. The midwives and staff, the location, the hospitality, the personalized care etc. If you are wondering about natural child birth this is definetly THE place to check out. I learned so much with Bella Vie and felt safe and in good hands the entire time. My midwife was Patricia and she is/​was amazing. They take most insurances as well as OHP. I can’t believe the good fortune I had to find this place and bring my daughter into the world here. My husband loved it too. He got to stay over night with me in the queen sized bed for every night of my stay after the birth and we welcomed our baby into the world and then were served up amazing smoothies and personalized menu options. I feel so priveleged my daughter was able to be born here. Can’t say it enough!
