Bar Fly’s Grill

Our host Amy has been very attentive. Stopping by our table several times during our meal to make sure we had everything we needed.
It’s Christmas day and there’s a fair amount of people watching the game on one of the five large screens. The ten foot screen was not in use today.
Lots of food choices at reasonable prices. Beer and liquor varieties abound.
Clean, well lit, with lot’s of seating and a closed in patio. The prices are fair for both food and drink. The tater tots that came with my Prime Rib dip weren’t as hot as I would have liked. That said they were not greasy and we’re still quite flavorful.
For a random stop I was pleasantly surprised and will be stopping in agian. Maybe we will see you there soon!

Nice neighborhood spot. Often see friendly regulars hanging out for a game on TV or to shoot some pool. Comfortable and low key. Really enjoy the bartender– Kiki. Very friendly and chill.

Giving them a slightly lower score because of health code violations in the paper today. Will adjust accordingly in a few weeks after corrections have been implemented.

So as Chuck pointed out (he always beats me to everything cool), Bar Fly’s is owned by the same people who own a couple of other bar and grills in the Salem/​Keizer area. In fact, they own my favourite location, which is All Stars Bar and Grill in Keizer.
I don’t feel bad about plugging their own restaurant.
Anywhoo, the food is bar food jumped up a little bit of a notch. The burgers are really good and their beer is always cold.
The location is actually pretty nice. You have the Original Roadhouse across the street, but there are no real little bars that you can pop into and have a beer and a quick bite to eat on the (relatively) cheap. So that’s a bonus.
The waitress I had was extremely friendly and very attentive to my looks when I needed a new beer. They have some pretty good deals on beers during the afternoon, as well, with micro-​brews and domestics having their own individual pricing plan discount.
All in all, a pretty decent location to go to.
