Wow… I had the lunch special for $ 6.25. Homemade chicken fingers, homemade mashed potatoes, green beans, and a salad (homemade blue cheese dressing.) Interior design is quite nice and nothing like I expected. The old «Flash Café «sign is still standing outside, and I didn’t realize that I was walking into Café Genevieve. I will return.

Not bad. Was hoping for healthier options with «café» in the name, but apparently that’s not what people eat in this town. The french fries are great, but my burger was a well-​cooked brick.

First time here. Around 6pm for dinner service. Not crowded. Nice café atmosphere, comfortable and clean. Staff was very friendly and courteous.
I had the Tilapia and the Wife had the Cod. Tilapia was way to salty for my taste. Not enjoyable. The wife’s Cod was a large portion but quite dry. I’ve had better fish. The sides, german style potatoes for me and French fries for her were good, no complaints. The dinner salad we had was good however the lettuce was a little brown in spots. Overall dining experience was ok, not great though. We will try them again with a different dish next time. Love the old pictures that line the walls. Fun to look at.

Great food and awesome fries! Great for lunch! It is good solid comfort type food and the three times I have been there I always enjoyed my meal.

The food was okay. My husband and I went there for breakfast and he seemed satisfied with what he ordered. I ordered a Spanish omelet and it was adeqate.
The service was okay but when we arrived, we read the sign that told us to wait to be seated and we stood around for probably five minutes waiting for someone. When the server finally appeared, no apology. Nothing. The problem is that the place was pretty much dead for a Sunday morning. There were two other tables with a couple of people at each spot and both were getting ready to leave.

Value lunch plate specials with table service is why I think my mom likes this place.
They do offer liver, good fried chicken, or other plate lunch specials with 2 sides for under $ 7. They have white table clothes, real plates, silverware and actual glasses. The place is clean & new.
They have a large amount of low standard height tables and chairs including a semi-​private area that people can use.
I stick to German or «country» food and seem to do A-​OK.
