We took a group of 6 ladies on a Sunday afternoon to do the silk scarf painting class. We loved it! Ashley was our instructor and was great! Oksana set up to the apt. and gave some advice during the class as well and we loved both of these ladies. Definitely worth doing and fun was had by all! The scarves all turned out beautifully. We came up from Sarasota and it was definitely worth the drive. We had no problem booking an apt. when we needed it. We did use a Groupon as well. Thankful to Groupon for this great find!

We walked in here and as my wife was looking around, I chose to take a couple of photos of the store because they had some really cool things. I saw a few things had caught my wife’s eye but then a woman comes in and very rudely shouted… «You can’t take pictures in here» and I looked at the door and did not see a sign so I replied… «I did not see a sign on the door saying that was a problem» and replied in a snippy tone… «I am making one NOW» I gave my wife that look of «Time to go before I say something» look and we just left… To the RUDECLERK: I love getting my wife little trinkets when I see her look at things a certain way. I had already noticed several things that caught her eye and was planning to get them for her. BUT… You know what will freeze before I buy something from YOUR store after that unnecessary display!

Haven’t been but purchased a Groupon for the silk scarf painting at the end of December(and I see them still selling them). There are no appointments until May. The appointments are Friday — Saturday — Sunday but it seems the latest is around 3 pm. Before you purchase a groupon — make sure you can get something near the date/time you would like.

I went today as part of the LocalShops1 Cash Mob and was turned on to a pretty cool place. Before we went in the owner came out and told us all the clothes she carries are made in the USA — like it! They are just like the name says a unique boutique mostly catering to women. They have a huge selection of jewelry, scarves, and accessories. The clothing was limited, but different then what you find in most shops. I really wished they had my size in a certain dress because I loved it, but they didn’t and the owner said they order so many of an item and that is it. I got a cool pair of glass earings — like stained glass kind of glass looking. Lots to choose from, if you are looking for a cute gift in the $ 10 – 25 range for a teacher, friend, bride, housekeeping, thank you, shower, etc you would do good to «pop» in here. It is right downtown near BayWalk in the same center as The Ale & The Witch and El Matate Mexican Restaurant.
