This place is owned by an Albanian pretending he knows about pizza. Never, ever, ever get pizza by someone who isn’t italian. Would you go get chinese food but a puerto rican? Would you get german food by a mexican? The pizza is absolutely terrible. The design is absolutely horrendous and looks like it came out of a cheesy Tarantino remake. The big center piece of the entire place is a picture of the New York Skyline, possibly a reminder to the owners that this pizza joint would never make it in New York. This place isn’t a product of passion, but more so possibly some kind of old school fella, who had a little bit of money to burn so he decided to burn it in a pizza oven that cooks terrible pizza. I can taste the ashes of the dollars in the pizza.

3 stars for the pizza– Pretty decent pizza. We stopped in for a slice and a drink. Was exactly what we were looking for — decent pizza, large slice, and a good price. Really like the ambiance as we’ll — simple and clean. Helpful/friendly staff and pretty fast service. We went early but I imagine that it could get busy late in the evening. Nothing really to write home about.

Good, New York-style pizza. Crispy crust was the real deal. A welcome addition to Central Avenue.

The pizza is absolutely delicious! Awesome flavor and the crust on the bottom was so crispy and light. Tony’s has just become our new favorite pizza place!

Not great. Not horrible. Not worth going out of your way for. Certainly not worth what they charge. They have a great location so I wanted it to be good. Until now, the only pizza right near the State Theatre was that deli between Fubar and 662. I had high hopes for Tony’s but I’ll just keep going to that weird deli.

Horrible pizza. I’ve had better pizza frozen.

Having checked out all the pizza in St Pete Tonys’s is the only place selling the real thing. Being a well travelled New Yorker I have had many slices in my day. The Costra Nostra egg plant is excellent not greasy and saucey like all other places. The owner who’s menu is based on real old world recipies is a great personality Go check it out

A welcome addition to the Central Avenue restaurant district. This is a great casual pizzeria. Great authentic flavors. And friendly service. They offer pizza by the slice or cooked to order.

We have been waiting for this place to open for a while now as their sign has been up. My daughter raved about the location in Clearwater. We went today for lunch about 12pm. They have 4 types of pie ready for slices — cheese, pepperoni, white and veg. They have a pretty extensive menu as well. They have sit down full service in addition to counter service. I had a tough time deciding, but ended up with the eggplant cassanova something something panini which was super tasty with thin sliced breaded eggplant, fresh mozzarella, roasted red peppers, basil, olive oil and balsamic on crusty french type bread. The bread was almost too much and I picked half the sammie off the bread because it came with yummy fries and I wanted to eat those. My daughter had 2 slices of pepperoni pizza which were NY style and oversized. They serve coke products. The service was decent and the place filled up while we were there. We look forward to going back. Enjoy!

Not very true to the«New York» style, wasn’t a bad pie. But didn’t have that spice to the sauce(nor the grease) that you would get in NY. It’s a nice restaurant, very clean and nice deco. Also, not what you’d expect to see in a good pie place in NY.

Pretty good New York style pizza! You can order by the slice or a whole pie. Will be back.
