This was a fairly clean and organized TJ Maxx considering how many of them are often tore up by crazed shoppers. I found a lot of good stuff, including Betsey Johnson PJs(a great Christmas gift!) and was impressed with the selection of high-end beauty products. I can’t attest to how easy it is to shop the clothing section as I’ve learned that I enjoy shopping the housewares section at any TJ Maxx.

So after digging through rack after rack of badly marked sizes and putting up with tons of lower class brats running around being unsupervised by their lower then Wal Mart class mothers I did find a few blouses I liked. The prices were nothing spectacular and a lot of their«designer» labels, including shoes were obviously marred, inperfect in some way and in some cases just plain garbage. I tried some nice big label shoes on, looked great, fit nicely, oh but look the sole is falling off. Seems the goods here are less then quality made, second season pawn offs obviously. Between that, the clientel it attracts, the unorganized chaotic feeling of the store, I see no reason to return here. EVER

I love this TJ Maxx! Up in NY, the one by me was a disaster area that had already been picked through, which was a very disappointing shopping trip. But I love browsing through the one in Gateway Mall and I’ve found lots of cute items here. It’s definitely better organized than most. I’m a big fan of their scarves’ and shoes’ sections. I’m a size 5 and I’ve managed to find a couple pairs of shoes here, which is rare for me. And I’ve definitely bought multiple scarves. Also, I’m excited that recently they’ve brought in items from Coach and Frye, two of my favorite brands. And they usually have good prices on everything. You have to have a lot of patience to browse through things at TJ Maxx and you may not always find something, but if you’re patient and dedicated, it usually rewards you(my friend Harley got me into TJ Maxx with her own such shopping strategies in college) and now I’m definitely a fan.
