I visited once during my Air Force Reserve days when I was in a pinch for a haircut as the place is right down the road from my house. The place was completely empty, as I expected on account of that I rarely see more than one to two cars out front. There were two guys working, one of which seated me promptly in the chair. I recall a lot of politically incorrect banter between the two, which does not offend me personally, but may had offended some. My haircut was fair; it was what I needed at the time; nothing to write home about. As another reviewer mentioned, I believe these guys have(loosely) mastered the men’s cuts of the 50s and 60s, but strike me as lost on contemporary cuts. This place is strictly for the Baby Boomer population.

This is an awesome place if you like crew cuts and those type of hairstyles back from that era. When it comes to new hairstyles that are in with the current times they don’t really know the terminology or how to cut those styles of hair. If you like crew cuts and if your over the age of 50 this you will really like this place.

I just moved to the area and already found my Barber Shop. Randy and Wayne are some good guys and look forward to listening to them as they«cut up» at work.

I have been going here for 12 years. Started with a great barber name Earl who passed away a number of years ago, and have since gotten a great haircut by Randy who is the owner. This is a Man’s barber shop with lot’s of cool animal heads on the wall, and ton’s of car magazines .They give a precision haircut at a reasonable price and are always cheerful and really enjoy their profession. They prefer appointments, because they have a loyal following and strive to not keep you waiting. They do take walk-ins but you might wait a while… so call ahead.

Usually two barbers in here. I guess until they get to know you they are kind of curt with you. I have only been here twice and each time was disappointed. I was looking for a new barber shop closer to my home and stopped in here one time for a cut and was scolded for not having an appointment. Not the best way for a business to treat a new walk-in customer. Shortly after I was told I was up, and an older gentleman was my barber. I explained what I wanted and he actually said«I don’t really want to go that short»…Really? You are a clipper cut barber shop catering mostly to men with short or thinning hair. When I left I had to go home and cut my own hair the way I needed it. Fast forward two years. I go back(yes, without an appointment) and again was scolded immediately upon entering by the owner. Basically telling me I may have to wait an hour or two as he had two people coming in for«appointment cuts» in 15 minutes…“Not sure when I’ll be able to get with you”. Sigh… I told him we’ll see what happens. In 10 minutes I am called over to the same older gentleman that refused to cut my hair as short as I requested two years back. I explained the cut I was after. Five minutes later he advised he was done. I went home to cut my hair… again. Horribly uneven on top and the sides were barely touched… I asked for a attachment #1 on the sides… that’s almost to the skin and I could literally grab and pull hair from the sides… WTF. I should probably just start doing it myself, It turned out well. I just don’t want to have a mishap… so I pay professionals to do it, with the expectation I will get the cut I want. I appreciate barber shops that do appointments. Its convenient knowing that you can come in at a time they have available and get in and out. I’m not lost on the concept… I’ve been around the block. What businesses shouldn’t do is scold customers that are new to the place and make them feel unwelcome. For that — I will not be back — and now thousands will see what I went through. They could have just smiled and said we’ll be with you shortly…
