Been a customer since 1994. Best gyro sandwich anywhere! Love the fresh produce, which is also on the gyro. I used to go almost every day for lunch when I patrolled that section of St. Petersburg. Got the police discount. Every time I’m visiting St Petersburg if I’m not going to Texas Cattle Company, I head straight for Elias!

After a lot of research I stumbled across this place who stocked Australian Coopers Pale Ale. So exciting! I called and the owner (who was lovely) put some aside for me.

I wanted to recognize this great little deli/​produce spot. Huge selection of Boar’s Head meats/​cheeses. Wide variety of sandwiches, salads, desserts with the freshest ingredients. A great selection of international foods and friendly staff as well as locally owned. We’ve been shopping here for years. Our favorite is their spicy boiled peanuts. They are by far the best we’ve found in St Pete. Never hard, never mushy and just the right amount of heat.

This is a cool little market that has a little bit of everything. Meatball subs, gyros, other sandwiches. An extensive craft beer selection. A freezer case of bagels from the Bronx. Armenian string cheese. Various Mexican, Cuban and Greek food products. A solid produce variety. As well as your usual. marketplace type fare. And Smokin19 BBQ is next door.

Bodacious bodega! Superior sandwiches and sprawling selection of gourmet sodas. Best subs in Tampa Bay. Looking for a great grinder? Skip Publix and subway and keep it local while savoring the spectacular subs at Elias! They’ve been crafting them consistently since 1981 with top quality ingredients, including some of the freshest, crispiest bread this side of the Brooklyn Bridge. Their large Hoagies easily feed 2. Since discovering them, I won’t buy a sandwich anywhere else. Don’t forget to try their amazing potato salad, and their glass bottle sodas (many unique brands to choose from). They also specialize in Middle Eastern items.
