This restaurant is filthy dirty! I arrived Sat. morning, Feb 6th to order a takeout salad. I was the first customer. I noticed 4 employees sitting at a table drinking soda. While I was waiting for my salad to be made, I was looking around. Dust on the wainscoting of the bar, crumbs on the floor all around the bar, all the chair legs and ledges very, very dirty/​dusty. Trash (napkins, paper, fork, food) under the gaming machines. Sticky drips of something on the floor. The tables had been wiped, but were smeared with grease. Windows dirty. I was curious so walked over to the room divider ledge which was cluttered with candle holders and fake plants — filthy! I would not want to eat at a table under the ledge for fear of what may fall into my food! I can only imagine what the kitchen must look like. The employees should have been cleaning instead of sitting and chatting. I will not be back!

Highly recommend trying this pizza and other menu items. I can almost guarantee you will go back and back again. I grew up on this restaurant and have not found a comparable pizza in The Saint Louis area. Doing a great job Rick and Jay. Loyal customer for life.

Just not what you think it is. The pizza is ok. The salad looked great, but that creamy Italian sauce… kills the salad. Over priced s all heck as well.

My pizza was spot on. I got the one filled with meat, onions, and mushrooms. The crust was crisp on the edges and perfect under the toppings. I hate to say it because the pizza was so good but I hated my salad. It contained a few pieces that were starting to brown and a piece of the core. I didn’t eat much of it. That made more room in my tum for pizza. I also discovered too late that I couldn’t use my coupons for an online order. So note that if you order online. Overall, the pizza was fantastic and next time I will phone an order in and use a coupon.

I’m kind of a pizza snob, I hate St Louis style pizza. Especially Imo’s, ketchup, provel on a cracker — disgusting. That said I really enjoyed Pirrone’s good take not too crispy and the cheese was good too. The wait staff were friendly and prompt, clean dining room and restrooms. Since our first visit we have gone back quite a bit. It’s a little out of the way but good enough to make the trip.

I don’t consider myself a pizza aficionado, by any means, but I think their pizza is great. It’s St. Louis style, and just really really good stuff. I have never actually ate at their restaurant, I just have picked it up to go. It’s always hot and really fresh tasting. I love the crush, sauce, cheese… And their salad with the house dressing… Mmm! If you wanna mix it up from the typical pizza chain, I would give this place a try.

Fell in love with Pirrone’s at the Florissant location. Was overjoyed when I found one out here.
Just ordered today. Because I had a groupon, and couldn’t order online, I had to call in my order. My only special request was to write something, or draw something, funny on the box. Told them that we also didn’t care if it was ridiculously inappropriate.
Boy did they write something hilarious! Based off of this, I will be back! Their food is delicious. My pizza was amazing and the meat sauce for the t-​ravs is to die for!

I love this place. I grew up eating their food up in Old Florissant and now that I’ve moved away from that area, I don’t eat there as much anymore. So when I get to go, it’s a treat. Why, you ask?
THE SALAD DRESSING.
I know — it’s a pizza joint. But their own Italian oil and vinegar salad dressing is amazing. My sister and I always ask them to start bottling and selling it but no bueno. :(But that dressing, combined with fresh, crisp lettuce, tomatoes and about a pound of provel cheese makes for a darn good dinner salad. Simple and to the point.
We also split a pizza three ways — we ordered a large and still had some left over. Their pizza is yummy — thin crust with crisp pepperoni slices and ooey, gooey cheese. Top that with a little parm and it’s a good day.
For this visit we went to the St. Peters location — the restaurant was clean and well lit and the service was great. Our server was attentive and funny, making the overall experience a great one.

Two stars only because the pizza is good. The service was horrible. The tables were not bussed since there was no one waiting for a table. The wait staff stood around the bar socializing while we had empty glasses. Our waitress helped herself to quite a bit of vodka in her Styrofoam cup. Won’t go there again — the pizza was good but not enough to warrant the price or the service.

Don’t order the salad. It’s an absolute joke. Nasty iceberg lettuce DROWNING in oil. I asked for dressing on the side & there was more oil than lettuce, ham and pepperoni combined.

I have ate here twice for the lunch buffet. The last time I had a groupon and the wait staff was very nice and awesome at their job. I had no problem using my groupon like I have at other establishments and they were amazing with doing extra things like bringing extra napkins be user my one year kept making a mess. Great lunch place.

Agree with Jon. Pizza was ok but overpriced and service was incredibly slow and bad. Everything (even the salad) tasted like salt and the pizza was luke warm when it hit the table. We will not be going back.

Their pizza and salads are really good. Their pizza crust is thin but not like other pizza places were it can be more like cardboard. The salads are very generous. The price on the pizza is a little high but still worth it. The friendliness of the staff can be mixed at times.

Awful service, okay overpriced pizza. This place has terrible service and a very rude server. If you get the old fat blond hoosier chick working the bar area then I feel very sorry for you because she defines poor customer service. We ordered a large pizza and 40 mins later it still wasn’t there so my wife asked her if our pizza would be ready soon. Old hoosier server tells my wife can’t you see how busy we are. The pizza magically arrived a few minutes later and we were told that she pulled it right off the oven rack which technically she isn’t supposed to even do. Whoa thanks for going above and beyond by pulling the pizza yourself. What a joke! Won’t be coming back here, clearly run by idiots.

Well my son voted for 5 stars for the amazing pizza, but i put 4, only because they didnt have almost anything gluten free. Its thin crust. Per my 18 year old, this pizza sauce and cheese were amazing. Plus the loaded on the toppings. The grilled chicken breast and salad were very tasty too. Noisy, hopping place

Great pizza in an unusual building. High ceiling and very open/​minimal décor feel. Reminds me of the «It’s a Better Burger» on Dorsett road in that regard. The other thing these two establishments share in common is great value and best in class food. Nice to see a small local place compete and do well against the national chains. I’ll be back.

I am a big pizza fan, I have to be since I have a special list just for pizza. We decided to check out Pirrone’s Pizza yesterday. It was a very delightful experience. Here’s why:
1. They offer a lunch buffet, which includes salad, pasta, and toasted ravioli.
2. They have 8 pizzas to choose from on the buffet at all times. That’s plenty of choice for this «Za Master». The pizza was also very tasty and flavorful. I read some past reviews and I don’t know what they are talking about. I have had much greasier and paid more for much lower quality in the past.
3. The staff was super friendly and kept my drink full at all times.
4. It was pretty dang busy during this lunch rush on a weekday, and they were still on top of restocking and keeping the pizza hot.
5. Price was very fair considering how much I ate.
I ate until I was full, and ate some more. I will be back, this is definitely a WIN! Good job guys and gals.
