The bar & restaurant staff are great. The food is good to!
However…
The coordinator/​owner with «Missouri Sand Volleyball» is terrible. He is rude, hard to get a hold of, and then argues with you. 1 of my teams won a session, he asked for a t-​shirt size list, which I gave to him, 5 weeks later he finally left the shirts for us at the bar. There were only 4 (we have 6 on the team) and they were all larges. So I emailed him ask that he might have left the wrong teams. His response was «that was the list you gave me.» Clearly this wasn’t true and fwd him the list I actually did send. We have yet to hear back or get the rest of the shirts.
A few sessions ago, we never got the playoff schedule emailed to us. So we asked when we played. He barked at us saying the playoff schedule is online and he doesn’t email the playoff schedule. Again not true, as I fwd him nearly 3 yrs worth of emails.
My stories could go on and on. He is just plain rude every time. No I’m sorry, nothing. I understand mistakes happen, but he never takes responsibility and places blame elsewhere. A simple, oh sorry, lets do this, would have been sufficient.
We have been playing there for 4 summers, with 2 teams as the facilities are pretty nice. However, this will be our last. I’m tried of pay someone $ 2000 + (and that is just for sand, we play indoor thru him also) and getting treated like that. There are too many options to put up with it.

IDK about the banquet facilities because I was here for a fundraiser volleyball tournament.

The one shocker (that may have nothing to do with the place & only the fundraiser) was the BBQ burgers were not as good as I expected… Sorry. I have been going to fundraisers for firefighters (bro-​in-​law is one) for years & usually have the BEST BBQ. But, the burger meat made me think «soylent green». The burger may have nothing to do with the firefighter’s union establishment & maybe something donated for the fundraiser.
