Metro Imaging St. Peters

Do not have an MRI at this facility if contrast is indicated. They do not check creatinine levels and will inject without. They did this with me even though they knew I expected a creatinine level to be done first and I have had numerous kidney issues since!
(It is normal and expected protocol EVERYWHERE else to check creatinine level first before injecting contrast)
Not a safe procedure in any way!!!

I had never been to Metro Imaging, but I was intrigued by their promise to give the results right away.
The imagining I had was routine, and I filled out all of the paperwork online before I made the appointment. Making the appointment was very simple, and they were able to get me a time within just a few days. When I arrived, they had all of my information from my work ahead of time, and I didn’t have to fill out any other forms… just confirm the ones I’d already filled out online.
I was taken in right on time, and the facilities were clean, comforting, and easy to use. The radiologist was probably the best I’ve ever seen. She was skilled, personable, and efficient. She explained every step thoroughly, both what to do and why it was being done.
After I dressed, it was only a few minutes before she brought out a card with my written results on them, and she explained them to me and answered my questions. A full, detailed report was sent to my doctor. When I left, I made my next appointment — no further paperwork, or payment at that time.
I have seen tons of Metro Imaging commercials that make the process sound easy, friendly and inexpensive — and that’s exactly how it was!
