My hot water heater went out and the company I was forced to use by my Home Warranty Company claimed it stopped working because the ground wire was missing. I knew they were just trying to get out of making the repair, but my Home Warranty Company was going to take at least a week to «research» it before they would send out another company to make the repair. I couldn’t go that long without hot water so I knew I had to have it repaired on my own dime. I was in a bad mood, and I called Grasser Electric to set up an appointment for them to assess the situation. The Customer Service Rep I worked with was friendly and professional and made a really bad situation much more tolerable. The tech correctly determined that the missing ground wire had nothing to do with the malfunction. He explained it should be properly grounded, but that I would need a plumber to make the repair. While he was there I asked him about my front porch light which wasn’t working. He quickly determined that there was a simple problem with the switch and fixed it immediately. I did not have him replace the ground wire on that first trip out, but I did call later to schedule an appointment for Grasser to replace it. Once again, the Customer Service Rep was friendly and professional and the Tech made the repair quickly and correctly. I would recommend Grasser Electric to anyone. And, my Home Warranty Repair finally agreed with Grasser’s Assessment about the ground wire and reimbursed me for the plumbing repair. Too bad they don’t use excellent companies like Grasser Electric with knowledgeable techs to perform all of their customer’s repairs.
