Cute, quaint little place. Teamwork service. Great variety of Italian cuisine. Reasonable prices and portions. Will recommend and return!

In the area for a weekend of soccer games… looking for an Italian place for dinner and stumbled upon Erio’s. They accommodated our reservation for 13 wonderfully 7 adults and 6 players). Greeted by Pete, our host, who worked the room magnificently. The beer was ice cold and the Italian sampler was good. Everyone’s dinner was delicious(various Italian dishes, pizza and salads). Our waitress was on top of everything taking care of multiple checks and all our needs. Thanks for a fantastic evening.

This is a hidden gem in St. Charles. The food is phenomenal. They start with hot bread and butter. I had spaghetti and meatballs. This is the only restaurant that has sauce that is not sweet. The meatballs were very tender. I can’t wait to bring my husband here.

Saturday night takeout. Tiramisu. 5 stars. Lady fingers, Italian cream, espresso. Moist, flavorful, delicious. Six dollars worth of heaven on your taste buds. Outstanding. Toasted ravioli. 3 stars. Actually, breaded and fried. Not a fan of these. If you like fried food, these may be up your alley. The dipping sauce, however, was very tasty. Pizza. 4 stars. Generous toppings, delicious crust, perfectly cooked. Service. 4 stars. We ordered takeout and our order was ready when we arrived. The restaurant was packed on a Saturday night and there was a line of people waiting but our order took less than 30 minutes from the time we ordered until we picked it up.

Long wait for food, staff very apologetic, got a free drink because the service was so slow. Mussels were good. Calamari was average. The Linguine Pescatore was good, but nothing special. Kids meal were good portions. Salad with their Italian dressing with anchovies base was good.

Atmosphere is cozy and reminds me of «the hill», but in St Charles. Good food and great service. We will come back. Their lemon gelato us to die for.

We had an excellent meal here while in St. Charles for a wedding. The server brought warm crusty bread and butter to start, and we had calamari for an appetizer(4 stars), my husband had chicken piccata(4 stars), I had canneloni with mixed red & white sauce(5 stars!), and we shared a half carafe of house chianti(I don’t know anything about wine, but I liked it). The service was attentive while still giving us privacy, and our server brought a complementary dessert – a delicious creamy lemon curd Italian ice – because it was our first visit. The owner came out at the end of the meal to greet us, and it was a pleasure seeing the man behind the meal. I will make this a regular stop when I come to town!

I knew we made a great choice when we showed up and the place was packed. They had a large menu, great bread and top notch service. Our food was excellent. We had the Calamari as an appetizer. It was awesome. Each of our entrees were large and real Italian! Our server did a great job and the owner was there making sure everyone was happy. I would go back in a heartbeat!

I was completely underwhelmed by the food. My stuffed chicken was cold in the middle and my husband’s rigatoni was basic, nothing special for the price. My kids enjoyed the pizza and toasted rav. I will say the service was amazing.

This is my Fiancé and I’s favorite date night restaurant. Great service, and AMAZING food! It’s a very small restaurant tucked back in a shopping center, but every time we go it’s always full! Also, there hasn’t been one time that we haven’t seen the owner walking around talking to everyone asking if everything is okay. The murder by chocolate cake is the best chocolate cake I have had.

Solid, reasonable Italian fare with a full bar. Pleasant service and decent offerings. The menu is predictable, which is not a criticism. Sometimes a basic veal parmigiana is just what you’re looking for. That’s what I ordered, and it neither delighted nor disappointed. The place was packed with local families obviously enjoying themselves. We need more places like this– honest, affordable fare with pleasant service. I will come again when I want a simple mean topped with a decent marinara at a fair price.

Tried the pork chop special and it was awful. Soggy bread crumbs and overlooked chop. Really don’t understand the good reviews.

This is a nice italian restaurant in a strip mall, next door to a subway sandwich place. The ambiance is better than the pictures on Unilocal. The bread is average sourdough with butter. The salad is an average greens with a pepercini and onion. I had their house vinegar dressing which was tasty. For an appetizer we ordered fried canalloni which was just ok, nothing special, good tomato sauce came with it. The entrees came and we had a chicken parmigian, which had an overly sweet sauce, which was almost sickning.. the chicken was cooked properly and temperature was correct. I had the chicken baccio amore, which was 2 pieces of chicken stuffed with prosciutto and spinach with a spec of cheese. The sauce was watery and bland with an insane amount of mushrooms. I think the wateryness came from lack of draining the angelhair pasta well or the mushrooms. Overall just ok… My friends had the veal marsala which was fair at best. The sauce was also bland, the veal was way too thick. The veal sjould of been pounded thin and seasoned properly. The veal was super chewy due to the lack of pounding it out. The side rigatoni dish was ok but notjing special. I was very disappointed by the previous reviews of this place and the final quality… I am also disturbed that when i asked our server if the pasta was frrsh and house made, he said it was. This was incorrect, they witjout a doubt use a dried commercial pasta product. I dont mind dried pasta, but i do like to be told accurate information, that can definitely sway my menu choices to order. It seems like this is a neighborhood place, that is cool, but if you are traveling, don’t bother the drive or the stop, not worth the effort or the money!

My fiancée and I went for a pre valentine’s dinner and everything was very nice, the décor could use an update but it has charm. We split the chicken parm, cannelloni app, and caprese salad, all done nicely. My only qualm is 6.50−7.00 cost for a glass of house red, the mark up on wine is endemic to all American eateries so I can’t fault them I just needed to rant. We will be back!

This is one of my favorite Italian restaurants in St. Louis it’s a gem. The pizza is absolutely fantastic and the Erios salad is wonderful and can be split by two people. I often think that fried calamari is a good test for an Italian restaurant and the appetizer at Erio’s is perfecto! To top it off, this restaurant doesn’t charge a corking fee so you can bring whatever kind of wine you want and they will graciously serve it to you.

Starting to feel as though I must not have had the same experience as others who have been to Erio’s. Came here late-ish on a weeknight with my bf, decided to get a pizza and some pasta. Besides us, there was only one other table with people in the entire restaurant. And then they finished eating and left. It was mildly awkward for that reason. It also took a long time before the staff realized we were standing in the front as most all of them were back in the kitchen. The people at the table dining actually shouted for a sever to come seat us and get us drinks, and that was reallllly weird, LOL.(But if they hadn’t who knows how long we’d be standing there…) The waitstaff seemed somewhat antsy/bored like they wanted to just close up and go home. It wasn’t quite closing time yet though(I always feel weird about going to a place right before they are about to close, knowing that the service may be lackluster as a byproduct of that.) But the service wasn’t necessarily bad here, just awkward. The servers/cooks/etc sat in the far back of the place at a table talking and joking and rolling napkins. I usually wouldn’t care about that sort of thing but when you’re the only table in the restaurant and you can hear everything they’re saying… it was at this point was thinking maybe we should have just ordered take-out. Food-wise, the pizza was just«OK» and the pasta wasn’t so great for the price they charge. I had the tutto mare and the sauce was kinda watery. I made sure to request al dente pasta, though, because not every place cooks it that way, and overcooked pasta wigs me out. So the pasta came out fine, but I wonder what it would have been like had I not made that special request? The sauce wasn’t bad flavor-wise but it was pretty garlicy, and like I said, watery. I wish there had been more tomatoes in it. The seafood in it wasn’t the worst I’d ever had but definitely not the best. Parts of it were overcooked. Very inconsistent. I just felt that the price I paid for the whole meal was not worth it considering the quality of the food I received. I might go back and give them another try sometime, but probably won’t be anytime soon…

Been here three times now and service and food has been excellent every time. Décor is a little out of date but good food will win out every time. Their pizza is in my top three favorites.

Last week of month long trip to Saint Louis and Saint Charles. Looked on Unilocal for highest rated Italian in St. Charles /Saint Peters. This is it! Very nice experience. We didn’t have reservations but didn’t wait very long. All tables were full from several hours we were there on a Saturday evening. This is comfortable place with very good food. Interior was quiet so you could carry on a conversation. Family run. At end of meal the owner came by and asked us how we liked our meal. Nice touch. He seemed to know many other patrons by name. One couple sitting near us told him they had lived in St. Peters for 24 years and this was the first time they had been there. Owner told him he had been at this location for 26 years. I ate the Pasta Carbonara(white sauce) and had a side salad with their house dressing. Both were just right sized portions. Both were awesome. White sauce on pasta was not too heavy, not too thin. All the flavors of everything were very sophisticated and were perfect for me. My dining partner had ravioli. I tasted it. I don’t really know ravioli well but it was like my meal in the sense that all the flavors and tastes worked well together. the red sauce was great. Deserts — We had heard this place has awesome deserts. We weren’t disappointed. I had«Death by Chocolate» which was a flour-less chocolate cake dressed with fresh strawberries and fresh whipped cream. Was not too sweet. My friend had the chocolate sundae. I didn’t taste the brownie but did taste the vanilla ice cream. It tasted like custom made ice cream. Very good flavor. I wish we had neighborhood Italian restaurants in Austin where I am from but there aren’t these kind of places there. I have eaten on «The Hill» many years ago during a trip to STL. Erio’s is every bit as good as I remember the places on the Hill without the parking and waiting issues you have there.

Who would have known I’d find my favorite Italian spot in ALL of Missouri in St. Peters? That’s right, you heard me. My meal and experience at Erio’s was better than anywhere on the Hill, and it left me so satisfied and happy. Sure, I had to drive a little farther, but I can promise you I’ll be making the drive again very soon. I picked up my cousins to take them to dinner and they wanted Olive Garden(silly kids), so I asked them if I could take them to a local Italian spot. Erio’s popped up in the Unilocal app so off we went! I was a little bummed when I saw that it was hidden in a strip mall, but in we went anyway. This place is completely family-run, and it felt like I was in someone’s living room! There were maybe only 15 or so tables, and we somehow got there RIGHT before the rush(around 5:30.) Our waitress was fantastic and got our wine and drinks very quickly, and brought out some fresh from the oven bread. Olive oil and parmesan were right on the table for dipping, and I was already on cloud nine. We ordered the breaded zucchini for an appetizer, and wow. It was unlike any other fried zucchini I’ve had, and dipping it in their homemade marinara sauce made it that much better! When it came time for an entrée, I had my eye on the Rigatoni Erio’s(large tube pasta with fresh garlic, Roma tomatoes, sun dried tomatoes, sliced Italian sausage and red chili pepper flakes.) I asked if they could mix the marinara and white sauces together, and they agreed! I can not express to you just how great this pasta was. The sauces were clearly homemade, the pasta perfectly cooked, and the sausage had just the right amount of spice. I was in Italian heaven. I finally tried a little of the homemade marinara by itself, and then I understood why everything tasted so wonderful. My sister and my cousins were crazy over their entrees too, and the owner came around several times to see how we liked everything. He was absolutely hilarious and told us we couldn’t leave until we cleared our plates. Luckily our waitress grabbed them before he could see we were too full & just couldn’t accomplish that mission. Fantastic, family-owned, authentic Italian restaurant. St. Peters. Better than the Hill. You should probably go experience it for yourself.
