Third visit… Sandwiches twice and now pizza. Excellent! probably the best pizza anywhere in the area. Excellent service as well. Simple place, simple décor… But wonderful food.

Not much to look at from the outside, but the pizza is delicious and there’s a great selection of beer on tap. We had a half and half Greek pizza(plain on one side for the kids). Servers are friendly and restaurant is clean. Unfortunately bathrooms are located outside so a key is required. That said, they’re clean. All around a great lunch stop off the highway. Recommended!

Oh my goodness. The spanakopita platter is culinary crack. Seriously. I have gotten to the point where I HAVE to have it. Every. Week. The pizzas are amazing, as well, and that is what my — less cultured: P — family will have. Oh… but the spinach… with that sauce…

Tried tonight for the first time after many recommendations. The food is great. I love supporting local restaurants/families especially when the food is delicious! I will say the service could use some tweeking– the staff wasn’t knowledgable and was super spacey. I was one of two tables in the restaurant and had to get up twice– once for box and order dessert Togo then again for check– that should never happen. Spanikopita was awesome! Also had the«new» Chicago style pizza that the server raved about then told me it was her first time serving it. Next time I’ll just try the regular pizza I’ve heard so much about! Will return!

Very slow service. Mediocre food. Not worth doing here(despite lots of 95 billboards).

Excellent food and service was great! Try the Spanakopita platter with Greek salad! Fresh and just the right temp and amount. So much better than fast food or a chain!

Stopped for Saturday lunch on our way down I95 to Charleston. Wanted somewhere that was local, so we followed Unilocal suggestions and gave it a try. The kids shared a Stromboli. It was their first, so they weren’t sure about trying something new. They loved it, and the adults tried it out and thought it was very good too. The adults had gyros and fries. The gyros were very good, a heavy dose of meat and fresh tasty veggies. Good tzatiki sauce. The servers we spoke to were very friendly and helpful. The restaurant really filled up as we were finishing up. Not much to look at, and you need a key to get to the bathrooms(I feel fortunate that we didn’t need to try them out), but worth a try for lunch.

Food was delicious. I got a Greek salad and added chicken my fiancé got chicken fettuccine. Portions were large and the grilled chicken had really great flavor and was very moist. We stopped after seeing a billboard on 95 and we were glad we did. Service was a little slow

Nice stop for an I95 pit stop. The tzatziki appetizer was great. The salad was fresh and good size. I ordered the eggplant parmigiana which was very tasty. The service was good; the décor interesting. Prices fair. I would definitely return if back in the area. A nice alternative to the I95 fast food joints.

Do not listen to the low ratings! This was the best pizza I have ever had! Clean, well maintained and a great great meal. As like most geek owned restaurants food was extremely fresh!!! Will return and would almost drive from Raleigh just for the pizza!

Asking for your dressing in a cup on the side instead of on the sub is an extra charge? Wow. I drive quite a ways to buy your food, and by the time I get home the dressing makes the bread soggy. What a ripoff! Maybe this is your last restaurant because your lasagna is Stouffers with extra cheese(don’t lie, I used to work there many moons ago), you can’t even have refills, or the fact you cannot special order anymore. By special order, I mean hold the salami. It saves you money. Why not keep it? No worries, I won’t be back. The racist shenanigans towards the mixed child sitting by me was the straw that broke the camel’s back.

We stopped on our way down 95 as an alternative to the multitude of fast food places. Yes, the restaurant could use some updates but it was a small town and we weren’t ready to immediately write this place off. We ordered a small Zachary’s special pizza, which turned out to be deep dish. Other than that, not too special. We also ordered a side of meatballs and garlic bread, which the bf described as «meh.» The server wasn’t bad, but she was absolutely swamped with a full restaurant at lunch. As a result, we ended up being there for an hour. Oh — and the restrooms were outside. With key access. At least they were clean… Overall, the food was 2 stars, scenery was 2 stars, and experience was 2 stars. Give this a pass if you’re road tripping. Not worth the stop.

Stopped by this place while driving up north for a wedding about a week and a half ago. When we pulled in, I made a joke to my girlfriend that it looked like a place that you would see on «Restaurant Impossible» or some other show like that. We laughed it off and went in anyway. The interior was just as questionable as the exterior. Everything felt very old and needed to be cleaned. Lots of old fake plants that just looked dusty and dirty. There was a beverage cart that looked like it already had the soft-drinks poured out, so they could get them to you faster. The service was fine. Nothing bad, but nothing great either. The prices were about what you would expect for this type of place. I ordered a calzone which ran about 8 or 9 dollars, which is fine. The food on the other hand, left a lot to be desired. My girlfriend ordered the gyro, which had to be modified as they were out of lamb, so she got it with chicken. As I mentioned before, I ordered a calzone. The food came out pretty quick. My girlfriend thought her food was«ok» but wasn’t thrilled. My calzone came out in slices. I’ve never seen this done before. Once i took a bite, it was obvious that this thing had been cooked earlier, and that they just sliced it into these«Calzone Sticks» as I called it, and cooked it again to heat it up. It was dry(as it was clearly baked twice) and wasn’t very flavorful at all. Why can’t they just make it on the spot? I don’t mind waiting longer if it means the food is fresher. My girlfriend also order a piece of baklava, which came out hot on a cold plate. It gave me the impression that it was in the fridge and that they just microwaved it. This cause the butter and honey to melt, which isn’t at all how baklava should be. With all that said, I would not go back. There are tons of places better for the same price or less. This place really just felt like everyone was trying to get you in and out as fast as they could, with no care about what they served you.

Excellent! Don’t let the age or look of the restaurant deter you. A customer brought me here. Subs were great-very fresh and high quality ingredients. Salads looked very good too. My customer is from Chicago area and he said the pizzas here are fantastic. The family owners are originally from Philly area. I’ll be back soon and often when cruising I-95. May be the best value(cheap!) and tasting place between Florence and Raleigh.

We stopped by here while on our road trip to Orlando. It’s a few minutes off I-95. Having lived in the«North» all my life, it was a surreal experience driving through Saint Paul’s to get to Zachary’s. You will get a good feel for«small town Bible-belt» America. It’s almost a different world from what we’re used to here in DC! The pizza was good and fresh. The service was prompt and friendly. Prices were reasonable. I used a Unilocal coupon to save a few bucks. If you’re driving on I-95 and looking for a place to grab some quick, good food, you will enjoy Zachary’s!
