This liquor store tries, but fails. I only ever go because it’s right by my house. They get some good brews but never enough. On top of their staff being oblivious to future releases or when they’ll get them, they get an attitude when you ask about it like it’s dumb that you expect them to know. Several times I have been told the wrong delivery date for certain beers either showing up too early, or too late. Also, a good number of beers in their ‘mix and match’ singles area are beers that should be kept refrigerated to retain quality. If you’re looking for your cookie cutter liquor store with a poor selection, unknowledgeable staff, and a general vibe of disorder… this place is for you!

I love how different some liquor stores are! But this place really takes the cake! It’s totally awesome! All the other liquor stores around here are older and really dirty, this place has managed to stay opened in one of the dying strip malls of Mounds View.
The selection that this place carries for it’s size is quite impressive! They have every kind of wine, liquor and MANY kinds of beer!
The people that work here are very helpful and kind, and they will be able to help you find exactly what you are looking for. Thank God for my new neighborhood liquor store!

This Liquor Barrel is a nice little store. They usually have a decent selection of beer and wine. One thing I noticed is that they don’t usually order the seasonals right away once they are available.
Otherwise prices are good here and the help is friendly.
