Great cheap Chinese restaurant! We stopped here on a whim, and were not disappointed. First, don’t go to a strip mall Chinese place expecting to have your palate challenged; that not what places like this do. What it did do was provide high quality food and very good service. Our waiter was prompt and courteous. He was attentive, filled our water, brought our food(served very hot — points for that), and kept the tea coming. The food was better than expected, and *everything* was served piping hot from the kitchen. We ordered egg rolls(not made in house from scratch), cheese puffs, chicken in garlic sauce, and Kung Pao shrimp. The cheese puffs(yes, that’s the name on the menu) were a treat. The sauce was a little different than the usual sweet and sour or duck sauce, which was a very nice touch. Both entrees came with a plentiful quantity of meat and a variety of veggies, something we are seeing less and less of in similar restaurants. Bottom line, great value for the money. Would definitely come back, and a word to the wise, keep to the Chinese food. Avoid the *super* phony dishes(here and elsewhere) like fried chicken strips and sweet and sour chicken. They have great meat and veggie dishes. And don’t forget to tip your waiter well. He works hard to bring you food. :)

Had guests over for dinner the other night and picked up some Chinese carryout from here. The food was decent, and if you like spicy, go for the spicy peanut chicken. We enjoyed the selection but it didn’t knock my socks off. I found the this place on Orgadeal by searching for discounts in our local area and asked for a first time visit discount. The rice was a little overcooked but for carry out chinese, it was OK. On the flip side, the egg rolls were da bomb.

Solid Chinese food. Egg rolls are the thicker, chewy type which I’m not crazy about. The food has never been disappointing, and equally never downright great– they’re certainly no Cleveland Wok. The overall portions are good and they taste fresh, although I feel they are a little stingy with the proteins. Prices are reasonable. A good neighborhood restaurant, but I wouldn’t rate it a destination place.

I am just not a fan. My friends love it, but I always leave feeling sick. The sweet and sour chicken is chewy, but the fried rice is good.

Something about greasy Chinese Food just makes me so happy! I mean seriously, what’s not to be said for sitting down to a plateful of nastily fattening, breaded, deep fried chicken, that’s slathered in a super sweet and salty sauce?! Add to it an unhealthy amount of Cream Cheese Won-Tons, and some eggrolls?! You’re looking at a heart attack on your walk to your car. I used to work in the area so I ended up eating here quite frequently, and as great as I really do think it is… it’s one of those places that you will get sick of quickly. There isn’t enough variety for me to say that you just had to have it everyday… but there was enough that I had it on a weekly basis hehe. I haven’t been back in quite some time, but I have been thinking it might be time to make a trip out to Shoreview for some good-ass food!

The food here is the best Chinese in the area. The problem is that when you order take-out they sometimes pretend to forget your side of rice to save $$
