Today my dining partner and I had their phở. I ate the tofu, he ate the beef. We both thought it was pretty good for skyway phở. A previous reviewer suggested that we make it clear that we’re «dining in», which meant we got a good size serving in a bowl that we needed to return to them. I’d come back.

I’ve only eaten the«Special Phở» here, but I get it at least once a week. I’m just happy that I can actually get Phở for lunch without having to drive anywhere. Food is made on the spot. Pro Tip, let them know you are ‘dining in’ and they will give you a real bowl to eat out of instead of a ‘to go’ bowl with a lid.

Great family-owned Vietnamese skyway restaurant. Everything appears made from scratch. Warm, hearty and inexpensive. Only restaurant know of open after business hours. Great for downtown residents.

I got the eggplant with garlic sauce cooked to order. It was delicious. There was only one cook, so it was a longer wait than I wanted, but definitely worth it. The buffet items did not look as good as my eggplant with garlic sauce. I will be going back!

Ordered the Vietnamese vermicelli with tofu. The tofu was cut in little cubes then fried. It was very greasy, also tofu looks and tasted like it’s been refried. I won’t come back sorry.

I like the generous portions, but the flavor isn’t all there. I was expecting a little something different, I guess.

Best Chinese in Saint Paul Skyway for sure. Very large portions, typical entrees. I would reccomend ordering made to order items not just off the buffet.

It is skyway lunch Chinese food. Nothing special, but it will do in a pinch and it is inexpensive. They serve you quickly here. You can get pre-made dishes sitting in warming trays or get dishes that are cooked to order. Getting things cooked to order is definitely the way to go if you eat here.

Ho Fan is a skyway lunch joint. Likely only open from like 11am to 2pm Monday thru Friday(though don’t quote me on that — just an assumption that it operates like other skyway lunch places). I had veggie lo mein, sesame chicken and white rice for lunch here recently. It was okay. I liked the lo mein more than the chicken. It didn’t rock my world, and I won’t make a point to go back here, but I ate all my food and was happy with what I got for what I paid for. Actually, I might go back to get a fresh spring roll which I saw too late to order. Worth checking out once.
