Great Nails

I walked in to get a fill for my pink and whites and was greeted by Julie. She was very nice and said since I was a walk in, there would be a 25 min wait as she and Mai were working on a mother and daughter.
The décor is so so, but the salon is clean, had no harsh fumes, and I saw their tools being sanitized.
The service I got was exceptional! Julie was very sweet, talked to me the entire time (she speaks fluent English) and was very knowledgeable about what I wanted. She didn’t press me to get extra things done that I didn’t need. She paid extra attention to the little details, making sure there was a flawless flow between the pink and white gel powder she applied, and that there was no bumpiness. My nails look FANTASTIC and very natural! Mai did my eyebrow waxing and man, she’s a perfectionist, which I love. She made sure my eyebrows were evenly matched and that all the little scraggly hairs were all tweezed. She didn’t use a straight razor like most of the other places do, which irritates my skin. They also use a soothing balm after the wax that contains no oil, which I’m glad for because I break out very easily. I was even treated to a hand massage after I got my nails done! Their prices are lower than the ones at the nail salon I had previously gone to in Edina, and Julie and Mai are so much more personable!
Suffice it to say, I’ll be going back! Next time, I’ll get a pedicure with my fill and call it a «spa day»!

Julie who owns this shop is very kind and a talented/​hard worker. I am a Stylist next door @ Salon Stil & they are always referring their guests over to us as we do for them! Relaxing pedi chairs and they ALL do a great job! Clean & spacious at a great price!

I’ve gone here once and I wasn’t overly impressed.
The appearance of the place is a bit shady — untidy and poorly lit. Not dirty though, I will note that — it was clean, just messy. The girls who work in their are friendly and talkative while doing your nails. They work pretty fast, but do a decent job. My polish lasted about 2 days before chipping — which is a long time for me.
The one thing I didn’t like was how they «repair» nails — typically in other salons I’ve gone to they’ve done a THIN layer of acrylic or even just some glue. At this salon they loaded my nail in need of repair down with acrylics and it looked horrible and thick.
Great nails would the last place I’d go back to, but in a pinch, I’d go.

Rose does the most awesome pedicures and Chris is great if you want your fingernails done. I wont go anywhere else
