Who would have known that there is an American Association of Woodturners, and their office would be on Lexington, and their gallery in the Landmark Center?
Well while we were wandering around downtown St. Paul, we happened upon the Gallery of Wood Art.
Some fantastic stuff here, and there is even a quiz in the back where you guess what type of wood.
It is the only hands-​on part of the exhibit.
There are bowls and all kinds of sculpture.
Part of the exhibit is of a living woman working a lathe who doesn’t say anything to you as to do so might end in the loss of precious digits.
