Cora’s Best Chicken Wings Food Truck

Ack. Cora’s Saltiest Chicken Wings. I had this a week ago and I think my blood pressure has finally started stabilizing.
I ordered «Honey Sweet» boneless chicken tenders with fried rice. I could taste neither honey nor sweet. I usually enjoy sodium-​heavy dishes, but this was so salty it caused physical pain. I think instead of using honey, they mixed salt with soy sauce with salt and finished it with salt, and taste-​tested it until it stung. The fried rice had so many hard/​dry/​overcooked grains that I had to eat it on the right side of my mouth so I wouldn’t crack my left molar’s crown. I also had a problem with the portion sizes. The meal was $ 9 and the container was so shallow and segmented. It held ½ cup of rice, at most. The batter was lighter and crispier than I anticipated, and even kept its crunch after being doused in sauce, but was unevenly coated.
I was generous with 2 stars because they were donating $ 1 per order to United Way. And the employees were pretty nice. But believe it or not, I’m not a total asshole, so I might give this place another chance and order something else.
