Byerly’s Wine & Spirits

I’ve been stopping by Byerly’s Wine & Spirits regularly for the past several months to taste and buy wine as I figure out wedding details. The sales people at Byerly’s have been extremely helpful — giving me perspective about how much to spend. Honestly I was torn and their insights were really helpful. You just can’t help feeling guilty that you can’t splurge for good wine but when it’s 200 people you start to be a bit more careful about budget.
Byerly’s Wine & Spirits staff have also been extremely helpful letting me know when their wine sales will take place so that I can buy their 2 for 1 specials. Decided on a Whitehaven Sauvignon Blanc that normally costs around $ 20/​bottle, but bought it at their 2 for 1 so got each bottle for around $ 10. It’s a great white that has wonderful citrus flavors. Now I’ll go back and check for a red wine.
It feels a bit odd to be giving all this detail. Oh well, as long as it helps others trying to figure out where to find good deals for a big feast.
