I feel really bad writing this. I generally love Sam’s. Really good Greek food, wide variety, really nice pizza, and among the best crab imperials I’ve ever had. Today, though, I wanted a crab cake, and ordered the sandwich. Not a winner… I ordered it broiled; it was pan fried. Could not taste crab or seasoning; it tasted like the fish cakes we would occasionally get served in high school. Really disappointing, especially since we’re kinda in the crab capital of the world(Maryland pride!). Around here, I’m used to seeing real chunks(often lump) of soft white crab meat. Not this one; it was pink, and the meat(and unidentifiable veggie stuff) was chopped so fine as to be unrecognizable. Did I mention that it was pink? Really disappointing, especially given how great the crab imperial is. This is truly the only bad meal I’ve ever had at Sam’s, and I eat here year round. It may have been a fluke, but it will be a long time before I try another crab cake here.

Called at 845 and they said they close at 9. Then, subsequently when i tried to call back and order a pizza they proceed to not pick up their phone for 5 minutes and when I finally got through at 850pm, they said they are closed. I argued with them saying I had just called and they said they closed at 9. However it was to no avail. Lazy service.

Have had mostly pizza and Greek salad and usually take away. Always dependable, quick, casual. Small Salad is more than enough. Pizza is pan crust and has been perfectly crispy in my experience. Sam’s is the only local restaurant to have tiramisu!

Use the carryout. Great food, very reasonably priced. Don’t expect much from the dining room.

Good old Sams. Best pizzas in easton or st Michaels, clean average interior Sam is always working there and you get super-sized drinks great family place all food at Sams is pretty darn good, reasonably priced as well. Parking is ample they have a thicker crust pizza which is excellent, and a nice big Greek salad, wait staff will not kill you with over service but it’s fine, all in all always good clean and consistent, GOSAM!!!

I asked hotel staff for a recommended pizzeria that delivered. Was told Sam’s is where the locals go. The pizza arrived hot and had me at hello — delicious with generous toppings. The crust was reminiscent of a Greek pizzeria I frequented in the Philadelphia area. Only nit is that I wish paper plates and napkins had been sent along with the pie.

My husband and I visit St. Michael’s regularly on our way to Tilghman Island and we’ve had lunch at Sam’s pizza in the past and the food was ok. This particular visit we stopped in to place a to go order and the service was just down right rude. The cashier didn’t acknowledge us and the older man shoved menu’s towards us and smugly asked us if we knew what we wanted. My husband was about half way through placing the order when the cashier just picked up the telephone and started taking another order. Ultimately was decided we didn’t want to spend anymore time or money at Sam’s pizza. We’ve also sent a quick memo to our friends and family to NOT frequent this establishment during their visits to St. Michael’s.

Poor excuse for pizza in a bland atmosphere. Only the friendly service garnered Sam’s a second star. Pizza was made as if cook had only had pizza from the grown food aisle. Thick and greasy… thousands of tasteless calories. At least the prices were reasonable. Skip Sam’s unless you have no other option.

My family and I go to Sam’s on occasion. The food is always adequate. The service on the other hand is not. On our most recent visit our waitress had very little personally, she was slow, and quite frankly rude to the point that she practically threw the check at my hands. I always say that the food can be fair but the service must be good. Don’t go here if you want good service. We won’t be returning.

I have been here many times and the food is usually pretty good. I spent over $ 30 for lunch. The food was terrible told the waitress and she do not really care to help us. I will not go back any time soon.

I had had their pizza before and it’s really good pizza. We decided to go & eat in. Prices were reasonable. We ordered club sandwiches and it came with fries & a little bit of slaw. Service was VERYPOOR! We waited 10 minutes to be acknowledged and ordered our drinks. When the waitress returned we placed our order. 45minutes passed before our server came back to tell us they were backed up in the kitchen due to carry out orders. I said if we would leave if it would be much longer. Lo & behold, she came back with our order. The fries were lukewarm. The place is not very big but is nice enough. If the kitchen cannot keep up with eat in/carry out service then something is wrong. Either short staffed or poor management– maybe both. I can honestly say I cannot remember a time when I had such bad service. Have always tipped 20% + wherever I go, but not this time… in the future I wil stick with a carry out order– they need some serious fine-tuning on service inside.

Had lunch with family. Since my son and daughter-in-law already wrote reviews on their meals, I will just comment on my lamb gyro. It was very good. My only complaint is that there was way too much onion on it. I like onion but in moderation. This was allot and cut thick. I will agree with my daughter-in-law and would like to try the pizza some time.

Went here for lunch. It was pretty good. Nothing to write home about. But pretty good. I actually had two different sandwiches. My father and I each ordered a large hot sub and gave half to the other. The two subs were the sausage, peppers, and onions sub and the peppers and sausage parmigiana sub. The former was only a two star worthy sandwich. The later was 4 star worthy. That’s the primary reason for giving this place 3 stars. Our server was friendly, but it was like pulling teeth to get her attention for a soda refill.

Went here for lunch with my in-laws. Service was a little slow, but we were in no rush. I got the BLT sub, which was heavy on the B and light on the L. The lettuce was kind of old, with some not very nice spots that I picked out. The husband and father-in-law each got a type of sausage and peppers sub and shared, seeming to enjoy both. Mother-in-law got the lamb gyro, which seemed to be the best out of the bunch. The pizzas looked awesome, as did the desserts, so next time I will try to talk someone into splitting both with me.

Nice simple restaurant. Portions are very generous, prices reasonable. The menu has quite a variety which usually means bad things for taste but everyone liked what they had from the Greek sampler to eggplant lasagna to Imperial salmon. Salads & bread were pretty plain and what you’d expect but if you want decent food, this is a great choice. Had the pizza too a couple nights ago — pan style with good toppings.

As new residents of St. Michaels my family and I were eager to find a local«go-to» spot for pizza. We ordered delivery from Sam’s and could not have been happier with the results! Veggie pizza was absolutely delicious! We will definitely be ordering again!
