Quality & value for the area is low compared to all other restaurants. We honestly think they survive by being by the highway. I have not been there for months because… We were here twice & both times was not impressed & cost more $. The initial smell of the restaurant is bad then… Breakfast –bacon was not evenly cooked with white chunks of fat & burnt other areas(my retired home ec teacher mother was not happy) –eggs ordered«over medium» had the whites runny Lunch I am not picky about buffets, but this was disappointing. –only iceberg lettuce -«southern comfort food» is what I grew up on & these are bland uninspired versions I stopped eating out of boredom & not being full… That is not normal for me. The effort & cooking skill is low while the price is high. There are MANY better places & values in the area.

Best cheeseburger we’ve had in a long time!!! Great service! Super clean! Thank you for allowing our little ones to run and stretch. Great food glad we stopped.

Directly adjacent to a decent truck stop. Courtney was my server. Prompt, attentive, smiling, professional. The night I went, April 18, they were offering all-you-can-eat crab legs, $ 20.99. I opted for something less pricey; chicken fried steak. It came with 1 trip to the salad bar. The lettuce is iceberg, unsurprising in the south. The condiment choices were decent, including diced ham, sliced olives, chopped eggs, shredded cheese, and a tuna salad, and Macaroni salad, which were both pretty good. The Bleu Cheese dressing was tasty. Chicken fried steak, and a baked potato The chicken fried steak was clearly a premade, frozen patty. The batter was a bit on the done side, very crispy. The meat was more reminiscent of a ground beef patty than an actual steak. The flavor was minimal, and the county gravy covering it was tasty, so not a bad overall experience. The baked potato was clean, with no «earthy» tones. individually wrapped in foil, served with a dollop of butter, and an accompanying small tub of sour cream. It’s hard to mess up a baked potato. They didn’t. They had a buffet, which looked plentiful, and they were constantly rotating the items due to high traffic of what appeared to be regulars, so I’d guess the quality is sufficient. The bus staff was quick to clear tables, and the overall appearance was quite clean. Prices were generally on the high side. My dish was near $ 10, and it was one of the lower priced entrees. That said, I’d come back if I were going to be at the truck stop for any length of time.
