Miller S David, DDS

Dr. Miller is a godsend. He and his staff are extremely friendly, patient, and so willing to help on short notice. I had to call in for an emergency cap procedure and drove from Chicago to find Dave waiting to help with the procedure after the office had already closed. One thing that everyone talks about that is true is that Dr. Miller does a wonderful job of explaining what he’s doing, what the problems are, and what the steps to solution are with no judgment. I’ve never found a dentist I could trust as much as him, and given how excruciating tooth pain can be that is a wonderful thing to feel. Make sure you’re heading to Dr. Miller from here on out.

I needed an emergency tooth repair and didn’t know where to go since I’m out of state; but thanks to Unilocalers and the reviews I was able to locate Dr. Miller’s office and receive the care I needed. Dr. Miller and his staff were kind, very friendly, extremely helpful, and were able to squeeze me into the schedule on short notice. I was provided with information and pricing during the entire process before performing any work to get my OK. One of the staff even held my hand when I was nervous about getting the needle to numb the area the doctor was going to work on. I mean how sweet is that?! I really appreciated the gentleness and concern of the staff; as well as their professionalism. Dr. Miller did an excellent job on my tooth and I will definitely return for future visits.

Thanks to you good Unilocalers, I was able to find Dr. Miller’s office late last year. Many dental procedures later, I’m caught up on my dental work and no longer anxious about going to the dentist’s.
Dr. Miller and his staff are so friendly and fun. I knew coming in that I had a LOT of work to be done, and was so relieved that Dr. Miller wasn’t tsk-​tsking me about not going in sooner. He just told me about the extent of the damage, and discussed the work that needed to be done without any shaming or judgment. Another great thing about his office is that he’s very willing to work with your schedule (he was about to schedule me for an appointment during his lunch time!).
One thing that needs some updating is his billing system though because it’s very confusing to understand. I’ll make a payment at the office, but then I’d get a bill to my house. When I brought the bill into the office to pay, the receptionist said that I should wait «until the end» to settle the account. What does that even mean? If I didn’t need to pay, why was I billed? Oh, well. It’s a small matter given how awesome everything else is.

A friend recommended him, and so being that I just moved here and had a damaged tooth, I had to get a dentist. He got me in pretty fast, and the appointment desk was friendly. I paid cash (credit card, they take Visa, Mastercard, Discover). The exam was $ 50, the xray of the one tooth I needed was $ 25. Fixing the tooth was ~$ 150 (can’t recall off the top of my head, but it was considered a 2 surface filling type of thing). Service was decently fast, I think I waited ~20min (including filling out paperwork time? Not quite sure.). Anyways, he was friendly, as were his capable multiple assistants. =) If I was going to stay in the area, I would definantly go again.

I had a cap that came and David fit me in to his busy schedule. He found that the tooth was abscessed as well. David did an excellent job. I really appreciated the fact that he explained everything he was going to do in terms I could understand. I also appreciated that he didn’t push anything that didn’t need to be done. I highly recommend Dr. Miller.
