Dari-Delish

This was a cute place. I love that is has an old time-​y drive-​in feel. And prices! Nothing is really expensive. Came here with my parents and we each got a treat and all three things were about $ 4. They have things like burgers and corn dogs and the like, as well. Chocolate dipped soft serves, snow cones, milkshakes and malts, etc. All kinds of flavors! It took me so long to decide what I wanted.
I also really enjoy where it’s located: an old part of downtown St. Helens. There isn’t much to do in this town (unless you have a boat on the river) but this is a fun summer place to come with friends.
The one thing about it is that it does get extremely busy. We were in line for about 15 minutes because the people working would switch off taking people’s orders and putting together said orders. So it would take a few minutes or so between orders. That’s really the only thing. They should really open up their second window because they do all the order taking/​putting out in the same window so everybody just crowds around it and it’s just a cluster.
Other than that, I love this place! I’ll definitely be back here when I visit my parents!

This is as old fashion as it get’s, and i love that! Cash only, no plastic. Food is made as you order so it’s fresh which takes a little time. No 10 person assembly line in the back slapping things together. There are many stores to walk around and see while eating your ice cream. Nice area to visit.

If you are used to the culinary choices of PDX metro area, then this place will be sub par. You’d have better food at Burgerville. But this is a local spot and the locals love this place. Go here for the shakes! There are tons of choices.

Make sure you bring your iPhone, everything is made to order to so it takes time and you will be waiting 15 minutes or more.

We love this place its super good and friendly service. Love the old 50 style dining experience. We go here often as it’s affordable and fun for family and kids.

I get their veggie burger with everything and it’s scrumptious. The ice cream is refreshing in the summer. They have excellent large veggies burgers and the cooks are nice. The place is like the walk-​ups that they had at the beach in Santa Monica when I was a kid, you order at the window, got back when the order is done for pick up, and either take it with you or dine all’aperto there at their picnic tables

Not only do they have yummy ice cream treats, but their burgers and fries are amazing, as well. However, my very favorite thing here is their fry sauce!!! You won’t be disappointed!

Cash only. Great place to grab a cold treat on a hot day!

I’ve been eating at Dari Delish every once in a while since I was a little girl. Love the ice cream cones and the food is that of a simple traditional American burger joint. The veggie burger is awesome. No gluten free options but also not meant to be a five stat diner. Bring cash, they don’t take cards!

Good drive in style burger and great fry sauce. Cheap also. In a town lacking places but chains it’s a good alternative.

We have heard from a friend who lives in the area that their shakes were wonderful, the food is ehhh but the shakes were super good. Hubby is on vacation for the next 7 weeks so we decided to take the hot rod out for a spin and head to St. Helens.
It is a very pretty drive from Beaverton, I will give them that. It is a very nostalgic old timey little place, no inside seating and you order at a window.
I got a hot fudge sundae and it was about as generic as it gets, the hubby ordered a chocolate malt shake and indicated it was pretty good, I almost got a shake, they have a huge selection of flavors, but they are all syrups, no fruit or natural adds. I am spoiled by places that use real fruit in their shakes, and they are excellent!
If you are in the area and need an ice cream fix, go for it, but I would not make a special trip for it.
They are a cash only place and have no restroom.
