Delicious pizza and good prices! Not good service. I had to ask for a refill about 3 separate times.

Atmosphere was busy, the décor was tasteful and interesting, the service inattentive and lackluster, and the pizza… just okay.

Came back here with family almost exactly a year after I wrote my raving review. We were so excited to be back because we remembered the delicious food we’d had that time. Unfortunately, we walked out completely unimpressed. Service: Our server was nice but somewhat odd. I hate to say that but I found him a bit dishonest. When we placed our order and said that was it, he just stared at me. It was awkward. I said, «what’s wrong?» He goes, «is that all?» I asked, «well yes we ordered enough». And he stared at me again and then looked at my dad because he was waiting for us to order more. We all looked at each other in confusion. I once again said, «that’s our order for the entire table. Are we not getting enough food?» He then gave a weird look and said, «well uh it’s not a lot but ok then». And we were left doubting ourselves. Anyway, point of that is that we ordered more than enough food and had I listened to him, I would have been pretty angry(we didn’t even finish our food). Also, my dad heard him speak Spanish to another table and since my parents are native speakers(as was our server), he tried to talk to him too since both have fairly thick accents. He kept responding in English, which was also odd and frankly, I found a little rude. Unless he was embarrassed… I don’t know. Food: We split a Ducati pizza(mozzarella, marinara, capicola, mushrooms, spicy Italian sausage and sun dried tomatoes) and a Mediterranean Piadine(hummus, baby spinach, olives, tomatoes, cucumbers, red onions and feta). At first sight, the Ducati was the greasiest thing I’ve seen in… maybe ever. It looked disgusting, and I don’t like to say that about food. I of course tried it anyway, and the first kick of flavor I got was charred pork. I asked our server to omit the capicola and substitute for ham, he said we could. Therefore, I wasn’t expecting that. I can’t express how disgusted I was trying to take a few bites of that pizza. I gave up and called him to let him know that it was not possible for us to eat that. No one liked it. Luckily, the piadine was good but nothing out of this world(at least not as great as I remember from trying one a year ago). He was cool about getting us something else, but we were famished and had to wait for that one to be made. Drinks: They had a nice selection of wines. I liked that I was able to try a couple before committing to getting the full glass. That was nice, as not all restaurants do that(or at least they don’t openly offer you to try first like our server did). When we were finishing up, all of the sudden, our server came and put a «reserved» sign on our table. No words. Nothing. That was our sign to leave. I found this really rude. As we were grabbing our things, they started calling people to come over and sit! At least wait until we get our stuff! Probably won’t be coming back. Especially with all the other way better options nearby.

My go to spot whenever I’m in the area & looking for somewhere with more of a casual environment that isn’t too pricey as St Helena can be expensive. That said the food here is awesome! My favorite pizza is the simple margarita which comes with mozzarella & fresh basil although I also recommend the Ducati which is on the other end of the spectrum with loads of meat. This place also has very good salads, which is something as I’m not normally the salad type. I usually go for the tre colori salad with extra kalamata olives or the mixed greens salad which is also delicious! Last they also serve gelato here which is always a plus.

Amazing Amazing and Amazing!!! This Restraunt came highly recommended to us, we drove in from Sebastopol to St Helena(about 45 mins drive through the windy roads) it was well worth it. Their Italian Sausage pizza is to die. All pizzas have an amazing perfectly baked crust, and you can bite into them easily. Even their simplest Margaritha is very good. My 6 year old who does not like pizza had two full slices and said this was the best she had.

This review is for people who like real food. Not fast food eaters. The pizza was not good at all and greasy as can be. I was trying to just get a simple margherita pizza and what I got was some chewy dough topped with basic tomato sauce, cheese and basil, not a margherita pizza which is supposed to be with fresh tomatoes. I survived but I wouldn’t recommend anyone to eat here and I definitely was disappointed enough to take the time out to make sure I write a review.

GREESYASLARDPIZZA&SOUP Gave 2 stars cuz waitress was sweet. Food however GREESY yuck. To start hubby ordered ministroni soup, oil was floating thick. I ordered ceasar salad fresh ok dressing. Now their pizza we were going to share a large ½ & ½ create ur own. The pizza was FULL of oil. Sooooo GREESY I didn’t even take a bite. Hubby was hungry so he suffered through his side(I say this cuz his stomach was upset the next day). As u can c from photo(posted) I blotted my piece w/a napkin and oil was still penetrating through. Ew. We come to Napa Valley every year &NEVER again will eat here. Now their gourmet restaurant next door was great! Thus we had high expectations of their pizza. Wish I took photo of soup. Locals say it’s great cuz this is what they know cuz in this town there’s only 2 great restaurants in town Gillwoods & Market restaurant. I’m from Las Vegas I’ve been in the restaurant business for 15 yrs. I work for MGM resorts international on the strip. I KNOW food!

Tra Vigne Pizzeria was able to accommodate our large party of 13. Great service. Great food. Loved the margherita pizza! I am giving 4 stars only because I wish they were able to split the check multiple ways. Other than that, I have no negative remarks!

This was a perfect casual ending to a wonderful day in the Napa Valley! The atmosphere is friendly and casual. The Margherita Pizza was perfection with arugula on top and I was not going to get dessert until the waiter mentioned the Pumpkin Spice Gelato – must he know my weakness! I gave it 4 stars instead of 5 because the silverware just sits in the center of the table – I do not like that. What if a person uses a fork and sticks it back in the holder. What if someone sneezes – ew! Am I being too picky? =D Other then that I highly recommend for a great pizza and superb service.

Very good pizza and a perfect way to end an afternoon of wine tasting in a casual upbeat pizzeria. Located right in the middle of everything vineyard, it’s a neat place to eat and stroll around the nearby winery. Highly recommended for pizza lovers. BYOW or try their great beers for a taste bud break from the wine. Rating =4 Yay! I’m a fan

Garlic Rolls«Saporito» were the best I’ve ever had… My colleagues and I were fighting over the last one. The Calamari Fritto did not disappoint and the Ravioli«Tra Vigne» was so good with the ricotta sage butter sauce(hint: dip your bite of the ravioli in the left over garlic oil from the Garlic Rolls… Yumm !!). Pizza is great with the Ducati pizza disappearing first. The Mercato pizza with the heirloom tomatoes was especially good with the summer tomatoes. I’ll be going back when in the area again :)

Tasty food, in a nice atmosphere. This is probably one of the few places left in St. Helena that doesn’t cost you an arm and a leg to eat there, and the food is consistently very good. Their flat bread with the salad on top is very tasty and fresh! You can tell that most things are made to order. I also love their pizza oven that’s always fired up for guests to see when they walk in. Service is my only complaint, a little slow and not always the friendiest. But nothing to chase me away.

The most amazing pizza I have ever had is the Positano. Lightly breaded deep fried lemon slices with baby shrimp, white scheme and scallions. The flavor combination is so amazing! The crust is just like in Italy, thin and crispy with a fluffy, airy crust. Every time I go to St. Helena, I NEED to have this pizza in my life. For dessert, try some gelato with a shot of espresso poured over the top. Best finish to the meal.

The food was yummy. But the service was pretty bad. We came here for my nieces Graduation from college. I overheard and saw an older gentleman, manager type, yelling at a younger worker. He had his finger less than a foot from her face saying«shut the f*ck up». He continued to scold her about something. Very tacky. My husband and I are both retail managers. He should be ashamed of himself! We had 3 different families in our party. When ordering we mentioned there would be 3 separate checks. The same older man said«they could not do separate checks because they were really busy that day and their system could not handle splitting checks». He kept rambling about why they couldn’t do separate checks. Like how kids keep talking to convince you they are telling the truth! Obviously a lie. So, if we sat at separate tables he could do separate checks?! He didn’t add the two other couples that came in after us to our check… So, when it came to figuring out paying for the single check 3 ways(cash, cc and gift card with an unknown balance) I guess we came up leaving a smaller tip than we meant. He informed my sister inlaw that the tip wasn’t big enough and we needed to leave a larger one. This guy is rude, fake and needs to be aware that customers are not blind, deaf or stupid.

came in on saturday with 2 girlfriends and sat outside on the patio. it’s a good sized restaurant with plenty of outdoor space! we ordered: — pitcher of red sangria — calamari app — ducati pizza — make your one pizza with proscitto, apples, goat cheese and arugula the sangria color looked a bit off, but tasted fine. calamari was on the small side, but fried lemon slices were interesting and tasty. pizzas were delicious! i was a fan of the thin but not toooo thin crust, and great char on the bottom! the downside is that the service is super slow! possibly cuz we were sitting outside?

Do stop by this cute little restaurant if you’re in Napa! During two of my dining experiences here, I must say, I was very pleased with the food. It’s a first come first serve seating basis. Kind of odd but the servers come to you right away and bring you menus/water. The menu is small but perfect because I hate having too many choices of things to read on a menu. Both visits I ordered the Fettuccini al Bolognese(but I substituted the fettuccini for pappardelle pasta noodles. The pasta seems to be freshly made! I loved every bit of my pasta and although at first it may seem small, a few bites in and I was so full. Perfect balance of meat sauce to the noodles. I like to ask for fresh basil on the side. There are 4 or 5 pizza selections but you can also make a custom pizza to your liking. They start from $ 13.95 for a small pizza that feeds 2 people. I really enjoyed the Margarita pizza which I added prosciutto to. My hubby had the spaghetti with meatballs(additional $ 4 for 2). The meatballs were gigantic! Delicious nonetheless. The prices average to $ 12.95 for pasta or $ 18 for a large pizza. I highly recommend coming here!
