Love coming to this place. They have good food and friendly staff. They have nice out door to sit and sip wine. Biscuits here are so Delish. Everything is fresh! #SOLitFood

Another establishment in the Napa Valley that never disappoints, about a month ago we took a special trip just to have their Fava Bean Special(to die for!) in calling ahead, the young lady assured us they had it(didn’t get her name, big mistake), 50 minute drive later we were told they stopped serving that already.. To make up the lost time and disappointment our waiter Molly suggested some other lovely dishes they are famous for. we were hesitant, but took her recommendations. her suggestion thinking there can be nothing else better or satisfying. than the Fava Beans WRONG! Head chef and GM felt terrible we drove all this way so they comped us the steak tar tare which i must say was a close 1st from the beans, I must say we’ve had molly our waitress 3x and she is very attentive and wanting you to leave wanting more. She’s a great employee to have at the Farnstead,

Went here recently for a catch-up dinner with a good friend and I continue to be amazed every time. They source things locally(and grow a good portion of their produce(and raise some of their meat) themselves so you may not find the same amazing dish the next time you go back, but it’s always delicious! We got the new pancetta, cheese, and peach appetizer, the cheeseburger(my friend), the Lobster/Shrimp Louie salad(me), the mac and cheese(my friend), and the beignets. Needless to say, there were left overs and the table next to us were so enamored with the beignets that we shared with them! My mom had also asked me to bring something home for her(I wouldn’t be leaving for a few hours after we finished dinner) and they cooked the lamb shanks rare so I could finish them at home for her. She said they were amazing as well. Since I live just down the street I go here often and the service is always great, the drinks and wine are fab, and it’s just a good time all round(with an outdoor patio for eating and listening to live music as well!). Thanks again, Farmstead!

I was in the area for the week for work. My husband and I decided to try Farmstead based off of the Unilocal reviews. The décor was perfect and reminded me of a «Fixer Upper» style. I sat at the bar while waiting for my husband to join me. I ordered a glass of the Sauvignon Blanc which was just like a Sauv Blanc should be, crisp and clean with hints of green apple. Initially, I felt as if I was bothering the waitress. She looked as if a family member had just died and barely cracked a smile. She was painfully unpleasant. I nearly left, until I heard her tell another patron of the restaurant that she was ready to get off and had a busy day. Once she closed out her drawer, we were given a much friendlier server. My husband arrived and we ordered appetizers(during happy hour). We ordered the meatballs, cheddar biscuits, and the burrata. Everything was AMAZING! The only reason for 4 stars and not 5 was my initial experience with the woman who obviously does not appreciate her job. Everything else was great!

UHMAZEING! Cool refreshing cocktails were the perfect way to beat the heat as our starting line up at Farmstead. Follow that with a delicious dinner of locally sourced, organic and fully made from scratch meal and I’m ready for a nap. Following our outstanding early dinner we took some time to meander through the herb and veggie garden, then finished up our wine while tossing some horseshoes under the giant elm tree. Creative food, awesome service, spectacular surroundings, welcoming and energetic atmosphere. Thumbs way up!

Cutest tucked away getaway in Napa! This place is the place to be! Come eat, sip, relax, repeat! Stay all day, we did, they won’t mind! The staff are great and they tell you the truth about the menu! Have a question just ask! Came for lunch! We made reservations in advance but had to change them last minute, they were able to accommodate us quickly! You must order the cheddar biscuits & Mac & cheese!!!

Wonderful recommendation by the folks from Meadowood resort. It was lamb night, and we ordered the lamb T-bone and lamb tartare. I’m normally not a fan of tartare, but it was amazing! Wednesday is the night to go, especially if it’s lame night and you’re a lamb fan. Dessert was also amazing, and if you go for the big easy beignets get some ice cream on the side. You won’t regret it! Really cute décor, very rustic very cozy.

A must visit if you’re in St. Helena. This restaurant/winery is sooooo cute. I’m a fan of the décor. My boyfriend and I came here around noon and was seated right away. Shortly after sitting down the seats and tables around us were being filled one by one. Looks like we came at the perfect time. We had good service although it was slightly busy. There was plenty of parking behind the restaurant in their lot. They have both indoor and outdoor seating. Of course, on a beautiful spring/summer day you can expect there to be a wait list for outdoor seating. We ordered a lot of side dishes to share. We started off with the LMR grass-fed steak tartare with farm egg, capers, cornichons, hot sauce and toast & cheddar biscuits. The steak tartare and cheddar biscuits were both really apetizing. The honey butter complimented the cheddar biscuits well. Also, if you check in you get an offer for free cheddar biscuits! Next, we tried the elote recommended by our server. It’s the Mexican version of corn made with mayo, cheese and some spices. It was okay, but we wouldn’t order it again. The mac and cheese with vella daisy cheddar was delicious! You can see the cheese oozing when going in for a scoop. Very rich in flavor. We’ll be back the next time we’re in town!

My sisters and I made a special day trip to Saint Helena for Sunday brunch and we were eager to try the farm-to-table dining experience. We made reservations the day before to ensure we would have a table ready. Our waiter was friendly and courteous, and always made sure we were well-taken care of. To start, we shared the cheddar biscuits with honey butter. In my honest opinion, they were the best biscuits I have ever had in my life! They were perfectly crispy and slightly cheesy on the outside, and warm and soft on the inside. My sisters each ordered the Farmstead benedict and the LMR grass-fed beef hash with two sunny side up eggs. I ordered the LMR grass-fed cheeseburger on a potato bun with cheddar, arugula, and crispy potatoes. I loved my burger! The cheddar and garlic paired well with the arugula and beef, and the potato bun was crisped nicely. I docked off a star because my sister was not impressed with the eggs benedict here. In her words, she has had better eggs benedict(even at Crepevine) in San Francisco. My other sister thought her beef hash was fine, but she wasn’t too impressed with the flavors and presentation. On a positive note, we all agreed that we could come back for the amazing cheddar biscuits. Do order that! Overall, we had a positive brunch experience at Farmstead thanks to decent food and good customer service. We may come back one day if we sorely miss those cheddar biscuits.

We were not impressed with our food. Excellent atmosphere and décor, may be worth coming back just for that. Service was good. We started out with cheddar biscuits and honey butter. The presentation of the biscuits was neat as they were piled high in a warm iron skillet. As for the biscuit themselves they were slightly too dry and noticeably old. Most likely they made a huge batch the night before or early in the morning and warmed them up before serving. Not a good practice for the price they are asking. Next we shared a forgettable burger and potatoes plate. We didn’t finish it. The burger was boring and lacked that beefy flavor we were hoping for. The bun was dry and the sauces need to be reconsidered. The potatoes were over cooked and had no seasoning. Two thumbs down on that. The house-made ketchup was closer to marinara than ketchup. The strawberry spritzer was okay. Nothing special. Certainly not worth $ 8 each. Overall we highly enjoyed the unique décor and atmosphere as well as the service. Which is where all both of the stars come from. The food was disappointing to say the least.

To celebrate memorial weekend, the Hunnie and I decided to have a lovely dinner date at this place. We got the 4:45 pm dinner reservations so that we can enjoy our dinner and take pics around the area. We were 10 minutes late but they still honored us since they hold the table for 15 mins. Whew thank goodness! We had a choice to either sit outside or inside and we choose inside since it was too hot to eat outside. We checked in, got our free cheddar biscuits with honey butter and started off with margarita and aqua Fresca. Both drinks were delish and refreshing. For starters we ordered the meat balls, arugula salad with strawberries and beef tartare. Everything was really good. The meatballs were very flavorful and tender. It comes in 3 pcs per order so it’s good enough for us two. For main dishes we ordered the grilled trout with arugula, cauliflower and bacon pieces and the Hunnie ordered the porkchop. Both dishes were fabulous. The porkchop was very tender. Reminded me of what I had in Lolinda. The trout is served with the head so just a warning! If you are freaked out with seeing fish head and you want the trout, tell them to serve the head of the fish. The table next to us ate the head of the fish. Ewwww… Anyway I only have this place a 4 star because of the ambiance. It was more of a family Resto feel to it than a dinner date, romantic feel. Good to burnt family and friends though. This place gets packed, even the bar so make sure to make reservations. And parking is also hard. Limited parking space plus the construction happening doesn’t help either.

Excellent place, worth the hype for sure. From the start our server Kevin was very attentive and helpful — and saintly for dealing with a team that probably hit 1 or 2 wineries more than was needed during the day. We stumbled through the menu and communicated via wine-glish an order of the kale salad, steak tartare, and ribs. All were really good, the steak tartare presentation was very unique, rather than an unbroken yoke on top the tartare here the keep the egg in a cracked egg shell off to the side of the plate so you can apply yourself — nothing crazy creative but I thought it was a cool touch to a standard dish. The ribs were excellent, big enough portion that we split for two and left satiated. For two people sharing a big main, a few apps, some wine and a cocktail starter I was pretty happy with a ~$ 150 bill. I would definitely come back here next time I come to Napa.

4.5 stars for delicious food, amazing décor, and great service. Make reservations before coming, or else it’ll be impossible to be seated. We actually walked in and luckily grabbed a bar seat. My friend and I tried: — cheddar biscuits:(FREE with Unilocal check-in) SO good eaten with butter. And so filling. Must have. –warm burrato: came with slices of bread and garlic –Beef tartare Overall, a great place to grab a bite or take a break when wine tasting, especially since it’s open late til 10pm.

People seem to love this place. I thought it was pretty good, but I wasn’t wowed as some others were. When Napa goes to sleep, this is where everyone goes to eat. This place gets jam packed. First make sure you have your Unilocal app read and make sure to check-in. Why? Free biscuits and there are amazing. They make you want to slap your mama. That’s how good they are. With the butter they melt in your mouth. Probably the best part of my experience here. The food itself is a bit overpriced, but this is Napa region. Everything, including public water costs a lot. I had the burger, which I thought was fairly decent, but as I said earlier, overpriced. Still, worth a shot. The grounds are beautiful, and it’s worth a visit at least once in the Napa area. There is plenty to eat here, so you will probably love the options.

After a busy morning in St. Helena, we headed to The Farmstead Restaurant at Long Meadow Ranch. It was completely full inside, but outside sitting is on a first come first serve. Luckily a small table had just opened up. We were at a two top right next to the fireplace. I imagine this would be a wonderful place to hang out for dinner and spend your evening in front of the fire. Our table had these backless stools that were on a large spring. They were surprisingly comfortable. The whole area is very inviting. he first thing that won us over were the complimentary cheddar biscuits that we received because of our Unilocal checkin! Score one for Unilocal and for The Farmstead. Seriously, if you want my undying love, give me some complimentary snack while I wait for my meal. These biscuits were crispy on the inside and tender and fluffy on the inside and served in a small cast iron skillet. I ordered the hash and it was amazing. Roasted beets and potatoes with tender pork and perfectly cooked egg on top. The sunny yellow yolk provided the perfect sauce. My husband ordered the pulled pork. It was perfectly seasoned with chunks of bacon in the sauce. The potatoes were hot and crispy. We loved our lunch and wished that we could have been there in the evening to have some wine around the fire.

When my wife and I began doing research for our Napa trip, one thing became clear. We had to come to Farmstead. We arrived about a half-hour early for our 8:15 reservation and decided to pop open a bottle of champagne on their porch/bar area. The bartender was super sweet and had no problem opening a bottle we brought from the hotel. We were absolutely starving when we arrived and knew we weren’t going to be able to make it until dinner. The bartender recommended the warm burrata. All I can say for this dish is wow! Fresh mozzarella cheese slightly warmed so it gets gooey, served with roasted garlic, pickled veggies, and some grilled french bread. After scarfing this delicious appetizer down, we couldn’t wait for dinner. After standing by the kitchen waiting for our table, I was able to eliminate some different dinner options I was deciding between. At about 8:30 we were finally seated at our table. Our waiter greeted us and brought us glasses for a bottle of wine we had also brought from home. Tip: For a nominal $ 5 corkage fee, Farmstead will allow you to bring outside wine/champagne. By the time the waiter came to take our order I narrowed down my options to the Meatloaf(Monday Special), or the St. Louis style ribs. With a little persuading from the waiter, I chose the St. Louis ribs. Of course we weren’t going to leave Farmstead without ordering the cheddar biscuits. These biscuits are as good as advertised. A crispy cheddar crust encasing a soft, moist buttery inside. The serving size was 5 biscuits and my wife and I aren’t ashamed to say we ate each and every one of them. I’m not a huge fan of coleslaw and the waiter allowed me to substitute the potatoes. My wife picked the gnocchi. When the entrees arrived, the farm-to-table freshness of all the food was very evident. The ribs had a very nice smoke to them and the meat easily came off the bone. My wife’s gnocchi centered around the restaurant’s garden fresh veggies. The side of the potatoes were perfectly crispy, and were accompanied by a sushi-like spicy mayo sauce. When it came time to order desert, my wife and I were so overly full that we couldn’t possibly eat another morsel of food. However, being that we were celebrating my wife’s birthday, the waiter graciously brought a cookie(on the house) and a candle so she could blow out the candle for her birthday. Farmstead offers amazing farm-to-table menu items. If you’re planning a trip to the Napa valley, be sure to make a reservation far in advance. There’s pretty much no way you’re getting in without one.

If you’re coming to Napa… stop HERE for lunch… brunch…dinner…snacks…or cocktails!!! This is the happening restaurant!!! The competition in Napa is rough so people work hard to make you happy! If you’re looking for fresh home grown kind of food… check this place out. They grow their own veggies and have fruit trees(limes, lemons, oranges) right outside the building. Super cool décor and layout! Just beautiful walking around! We checked in on «Yelp» and received some killer cheddar biscuits! Sooooo yummy! I had their pork chop meal! It was FANTASTIC! A must try! Funny! We ate here on our way in town. As we left town we stopped in for a second meal! It was that good! The first day we waited an hour for seating! No worries! They have a bar inside and outside! Seating everywhere! You can take that opportunity to walk around and enjoy the landscaping and the view! There’s also another building with 20 feet or so where you can do a little wine tasting and shop! Another part to have coffee!(small café) The staff was awesome! Everyone was very courteous and helpful with suggestions! This place is well maintained and clean! Great place for a snack or a full meal! Lots to look at. We loved everything!!!

So dear Unilocalers, the hype is true! Because sharing is caring, I have to confirm how amazing the Farmstead is. AMAZING!!! As in: get-your-tush-there-now! The vibe is ultra cool and chill! Wait, that sounds like I am saying the same thing twice, but you smart ones know what I mean! The beautiful grounds have several areas to explore besides the indoor restaurant. There are outdoor seating and eating areas, a cool old farm truck and tractor. The indoor space is funky and unique with hanging farm machinery and exposed light bulbs, lots of fresh flowers, long and small tables. The place was absolutely packed and with good reason. I did sharsies with the cheesy biscuits which came compliments of my Unilocal check-in(yay!), grilled artichoke, beet salad and grass-fed cheeseburger. Sharsies means you get to try more things and also, remember sharing is caring… The grilled artichoke was a perfectly cooked organic wonder that allowed you to eat almost the whole thing. The leaves had plenty of tender meat on them. There was a slightly blackened element to the artichoke and lemon that enhanced the overall flavor. The accompanying tartar sauce was okay, but I was not a fan. My preference leans more towards something a garlic aioli. So, there’s something you have to know about me and beet salads. I get one almost every time I see it on the menu. Which means that I have tried a great many, and this one was literally in the top two(tied) that I have ever had, bar none. I didn’t manage to get a shot of it all pretty in the dish before the gremlins dove into it so the pic doesn’t look like much, but this roasted beet salad is the bomb! Another thing, I am usually verrry picky about goat cheese; some I love and some I loathe; but this goat cheese is Ahmazing! The salad was sheer goosebumps for my tastebuds, and all that talk about sharing… nope, not happening next time. That was before I had the bomb beet salad that rocked my world. Sorry… I need my own!!! And now, on to the grass-fed(thank you very much) cheeseburger. That baby cooked medium well put my taste buds over the edge. So the dude is a super duper sandwich/burger lover and critic and has very high standards for his sandwich/burger grub. Well, this one left him scratching his head to remember a more delicious burger. It was that good. And for the record, it was only my second burger ever at a restaurant(have never had a fast food one) and I loved it! The flavors were melt-in-your-mouth amazing! As a side note-I was craving a steak, but they don’t regularly feature steak on the menu as they source their own grasped beef and they don’t have enough to have steak regularly. I sure am glad that I had the cheeseburger though. The least favorite part of the night-dessert. My guy has a sweet tooth with a soft spot for chocolate so naturally he ordered the chocolate pie which was super thick and rich. One bite and I was done. The cappuccinos were a tad bitter for my taste. Normally I put one pack of sugar, in this case I put two and it still wasn’t sweet enough. And no, I didn’t want to keep putting more sugar in it. I almost forgot! The drinks were great-I don’t remember the names, but mine had tequila and his had carrot. Service was easy breezy and all in all, I can’t wait to come back! There was a wedding going on in the back and from what I could see the venue was beautiful. Apparently there is a mini-farmer’s market and a store to check out too. So head on over to explore the Farmstead!

5 stars all around! Killer margarita, great cheesy biscuits and the gnocchi wow! Make sure you make a reservation as this place was still fully seated around 10:30 as we were leaving. Super cozy and welcoming with the dimmed lighting and seating design. The night we dined here it was raining so sadly we didn’t get to enjoy the outside area but it looked awesome for nicer weather with two bars and a fire pit! If I’m ever in the area again I’ll 100% be stopping in.

This place is fantastic. We got a last minute reservation at 8:30 or so for dinner. The décor is rustic and slightly romantic. You can see the action in the open kitchen from your table. Be sure to check in for those free cheddar biscuits with honey butter– so good! Flavor and texture were perfect(and I was born and raised in the South!). We split a plate of grilled artichoke with lemon to start as well. The dipping yogurt(?) sauce was an excellent accompaniment. Then, out came the pork chop dish with jalapeño grits that the waiter recommended and the decadent Mac and cheese(bacon added). The pork chop was nicely seasoned and prepared well– not dry, which was a nice surprise for me. Though not my favorite ever, the Mac and cheese was rather scrumptious as well and worked as a nice side. I’m sad I didn’t get the beignets with bourbon sauce. Everything on the menu sounded delicious, so we will have to come back here when in Napa.

Wow, what a treat. We celebrated Valentine’s Day a day late, on Monday. After arriving and meandering around the beautiful grounds, we choose to sit at the bar with a very polite bartender, Sean. Beautifully executed Petrale Sole, pork chops, artichokes, and the finest beet salad I have ever tasted, are a few reasons to try it. But this experience is greater than the sum of it’s parts! To say we were happy would be an understatement… satiated, content, fulfilled, satisfied is more like it. We grazed, tried a few different specialty cocktails and wines all under the competent direction of Sean. Quick to smile, share his knowledge and suggest pairings, Sean couldn’t have been better! Don’t miss this experience, plan on some time and enjoy!

We ended up here based on a recommendation from the sommelier at the tasting we had just come from. Even on a rainy day for lunch, there was a really long wait. We went over to the shop/tasting room next door to wait for our table. I would definitely recommend a reservation. We started off with complementary cheddar biscuits thanks to a Unilocal offer and they were gone in about 15 seconds(let me just say there were 4 of us so that’s not really that hard). They were soft, flavorful, and almost melted in your mouth. Like most places in Napa, it wasn’t exactly cheap but everything we had was really great. I wasn’t starving so I just got the meatballs and picked off of other peoples plates :) One of my friends got the pork chop and basically cleaned his entire plate. The ribs fell of the bones and the mac and cheese was the perfect comfort food. We would definitely go back again.

Like I’ve mentioned in my few reviews, I don’t always give them due to not having the time. But, I make the effort if my taste buds have been totally blown away. Well, LMR totally did. We decided on a whim to drive to the Napa Valley for brunch on Sunday. I made reservations at LMR since this place has been on my radar for a while. I loved the feel of the restaurant and surrounding grounds. It’s like you’re at a farm, but a little more upscale. We had a 1230 reservation and were seated right away. Our server was fantastic but I unfortunately cannot remember his name. Service is a determining factor for me when it comes to getting a rave review. Food, is right next to it, of course. Starter — Cheddar Biscuits — ooohhhh so delish! Chili — As I quote my husband«it’s the best chili he’s ever had.» Eggs Benedict with Pork — I’ve always loved pork chop with egg… who doesn’t! Although this was 2 slices of pork medallion atop poached eggs. Delish. Oh, can’t forget the potatoes! So crunchy and tasty! Ribs — This is by FAR the BEST ribs my husband and I have tried! Melt in your type of deal. I can still taste it. Cheeseburger — Our 8 year old had this and it wasn’t a child portion, let me tell you. Of course we had to try it and it didn’t disappoint, either! Finally, had the beignets for dessert. I probably shouldn’t, but I always compare Disneyland ‘s beignet to any beignet that I try. This was close. The beignet dipped in bourbon sauce married well. Will definitely go back to try their other dishes like Tuesday Fried Chicken Night! Who won’t love that?! I love that they also serve family style if you call ahead. Definitely one of our go to places in the Napa Valley.

Our family style menu included the amazing cheddar biscuits, the burrata, a salad with arugula, apples, blue cheese, almonds and citrus vinaigrette, the ribs, brick chicken, broccolini, grits, and the most amazing chocolate cream pie. Everything we tasted was truly amazing — fresh, flavorful and so tasty. This is a must visit farm to table restaurant in the Napa Valley!

SOGOOD. Came here for brunch on Monday, MLK Jr. day. You get free cheddar biscuits with a Unilocal check in! Definitely worth it; they are crispy on the outside, soft and gooey on the inside, and completely delicious. I had the lamb sliders and the kale salad. Kale salad has a little bit of a kick to it and parmesan crisps. Lamb sliders have some kind of jam on them that cuts the natural gaminess of the meat. Both dishes were excellent. I also sampled my friend’s pulled pork sandwich and my other friend’s brick cooked chicken. The sandwich was good and the brick cooked chicken was amazing. Everything here was good including the service. Definitely a must visit. Also the grounds are adorable and make for great photos.

This is such a great place to go to for Sunday brunch in order to prepare for a day of wine tasting. They do accept walk-ins, but I recommend having a reservation, as this place was extremely busy. The inside of this place is huge, with lots of seating. They also have an outdoor bar area and outdoor fireplace if you would like to sit outside. We opted to sit inside. The menu, well, lets just say I could eat pretty much anything on it. They not only allow you to choose from their standard menu, but they also have a specialty Sunday brunch menu. Plenty of comfort food: Pulled pork from the smoker, ribs, sausage sandwiches, cheeseburgers, pork chops, salads, soups, pork hash, eggs, biscuits & gravy, smoked bacon… etc. They also have a really diverse drink menu, including many brunch standards like Mimosas and Bloody Mary’s. They put their own twist on these drinks as well, so if you are adventurous, you have options. Oh, and the cheddar biscuits with honey butter? Yes, Yes, Yes! And if you check in here, the cheddar biscuits are free… got to love Unilocal friendly places. Many of the food items on the menu come from the Ranch itself, which means freshness. I always enjoy a farm to table scenario for a restaurant. If you are looking for an awesome meal, brunch, lunch, dinner, mark Farmstead on your agenda. This is a super casual and laid back environment. The staff here is courteous and prompt, always filling your waters and coffees before you knew you needed it. Top notch service.

Farmstead is a delicious restaurant with excellent service! I visited for dinner in spring 2015 and again this week. The design inside is tasteful and very rustic. Outdoors they have pretty garden seating. This is one of those places where experience, service, food all align. I would trust Farmstead for a special occasion. The menu changes, maybe seasonally(?), as it was different this week than May. We enjoyed gnocchi, chicken, cheddar biscuits, and lemon meringue pie. Each dish was prepared properly and tasted great. The cheddar biscuits are great with a little butter. Gnocchi was pillowy. Chicken very tender. If you’re looking for a tasty, but more casual place for dinner, check out Farmstead! They also have a store on site and offer chef tasting experience. Thanks again Farmstead for a wonderful dinner experience(-: I can’t wait to come back.

Wow! This place is amazing and will not disappoint if you decide to eat here. After picking up my shipments on a random Saturday we got done with our last tasting and we were hungry and FarmStead was on my short list of places to try. Luckily there was plenty of room outside in the bar area and we got super lucky and had a table right next to a heat lamp. We started with the charcuterie board which was awesome. I debated over the pork chop or the burger and was quickly told by the waitress to get the chop. good lord was it delicious, it was super juicy and tender with the perfect amount of apples and sauce. The rack of ribs was cooked to perfection and fell off the bone easily. We added Brussel sprouts and cheese biscuits. Definitely try the cheese biscuits(they’re amazing, like red lobsters but waaaaay better) I look forward to coming back here many times

We had an excellent brunch here today on New Year’s Day! We sat outside near the fire because we had our dog with us. It was nice because the fire wasn’t on but after we sat down they light it up and it was super pretty. We ordered the lamb and eggs which was delicious and I had the pork eggs Benedict and really enjoyed it(just wish the toast wasn’t so burned). I’m so happy we also splurged and ordered the beignets with bourbon caramel sauce — YUMMMM! There was about 6 – 7 small beignets and had a nice hint of cinnamon inside. The service was excellent and I can’t wait to come back. We have also wine tasted here in the past and I remember the Sav Blanc was very good — we actually ordered a bottle and played on the lawn with my dog and the kids. Such a beautiful spot! :)

Had lunch here for our mid day snack during wine tasting. Adorable rustic interior that is airy and bright. I checked in and they brought the cheddar biscuits to the table which everyone loved. Overall our table of 6 received great service! We split several salads, the brussels, and the caramelized beets which were all fantastic. I ordered the pulled pork sandwich. I’m not a huge bread person so I was overwhelmed by the size of the bun. Easy fix just didn’t eat the top piece. The pork was great, but could have used a touch more acidity to offset the heaviness of the dish. We had a great time and would definitely return. Farm to table at its best!

This is a must if you go to the Napa region. I’ve seen many farm to table groups around the world, none impressed me as much as this place. The grounds are beautiful. There’s a farm, ranch and winery on site. The food is spectacular. The food we had was fantastic — this was the perfect spot after a long day of wine tasting. All the food was fresh and tasty. The menu changes regularly based on what’s in season. I can’t recommend this place enough.

Overall — come to Farmstead for a high quality and service experience all around. Dined here for a weekday lunch. Food — 5 stars. I had the special strip steak that day as picture below — delicious. It was served with Chimichurri and grilled to perfection. For dessert I had the Chocolate cream pie with a scoop of vanilla ice cream — delicious. The crust has some type of snicker doodle molasses combo that is wonderful. My friends and I couldn’t stop eating it. Drinks — 5 stars. I ordered a custom cocktail which was done perfectly. Hands down it was my favorite way the drink has ever been made. Service — 5 stars. Our server was so incredibly nice and helpful. She answered any questions and was a pleasure.

Be prepared to meet the meat… and plenty of it. Farmstead at Long Meadow Ranch is a very cool concept(as many other Unilocalers have attested to). It is a large corner property that houses a restaurant, wine tasting café, general store(you can buy their locally raised meats here), and lovely grounds. I came for the meat: As they have their own ranch with amazing products. Their Heritage St. Louis ribs are seriously good. They slow smoke them in their monster smoker. The finished result is fall off the bone, tender, tasty pork goodness. Their hash is really more a pork orgy as there are literally no potatoes to be found. The over easy egg is just nirvana. Get the mini ham(more prosciutto) biscuit sandwiches. The secret is really the jalapeño jelly… wow. Awesome homemade bloody mary. Garnished with a homemade slim jim, bacon, grilled veggies. I could have passed on the food and just drank a few of these. Burgers looked awesome. Finish off this gut busting meal with a round of wonderful beignets with bourbon caramel sauce… and you can waddle off in a food coma with a smile. Oh don’t forget to Unilocal check in and claim your Cheddar biscuits… they are delish!

Loved my experience at Farmstead! As expected with a farm to table restaurant, everything was especially fresh. I would highly recommend their mini ham sandwiches with pepper jelly. Doesn’t sound like much, but I loved the generous portion prosciutto on a biscuit. I had the grass fed cheeseburger which was filling. The crispy herb fried potatoes paired well with the spicy mayo and homemade ketchup! The ketchup had a tomato sauce consistency and I would choose this over Heinz any day. The ribs were fall-off-the-bone tender, the vegetables were crisp and fresh. The agua fresca was refreshing yet strong. I love the cute and hip atmosphere here. Service was attentive and friendly. I would come back to give their brunch a try. Definitely recommend giving Farmstead a try on your next wine tasting trip!

ALWAYS ask to sit inside on hot days. I made the mistake of sitting outside for linner last weekend and was sweating from my scalp to ass crack. If I had lingered at our table for any longer, I probably would have ripped off my dress and dumped the water glass all over my bod. Luckily, the food temporarily distracted me from the sweltering heat. The lamb sliders, steak tartare, oysters and brick-cooked chicken were all excellent. Don’t forget to check-in on Unilocal and get a free order of cheddar biscuits with honey butter. These tasted perfect with the leftover chicken for my next meal. I definitely had to do some extra lunges and squats after all this food — gotta make sure my ass doesn’t get all lumpy like those biscuits, naa’mean?

If you go before 6pm the chances of them not having their famous bbq ribs is really is high. We found this out the hard way when we were told that they wouldn’t be ready until after 6pm, this was at 5:15pm. We were going to wait it out but after having visited a few wineries we were pretty hungry. So we went ahead and ordered dinner which was solid but the whole time I was craving their ribs. As we finished up our dinner, just after 6pm the ribs still weren’t ready. Good thing we didn’t wait it out. Hopefully no one else gets to experience the great let down and sadness of ribs aren’t available on your visit. On a side note, the outdoor bar area has its own menu which includes sliders and bbq pork nachos. Just so you know. :)
