We went to Charles Krug Vineyard today and was not happy about the pizza. The lady working was not friendly and wouldn’t even put mushrooms on it when we asked and we went out to check to see if our pizza was almost done only to find that it had not even been put in the oven. And they charged $ 19 for a small personal pan pizza that was the size of a kid’s pizza! We asked for a refund and will not be ordering from them again. The winery compensated us with some wine but I really hope they consider a new vendor.

Stopped by the winery when I saw the sign that a new café opened, Cucina di Rosa, the staff were warm, friendly, and inviting. Just for that reason alone I was excited to try their café. The lady at the register showed me around, and was able to explain everything they offered. In one of their salads, they use some of the fresh vegetables from the CIA garden which I thought was great! I will definitely be trying that next time! I ended up ordering the turkey panini which was to die for. Definitely 5 stars for service, taste and overall environment!
