On a road trip passing through UT and saw this Firehouse Sub and thought I would give them a first try. I wasn’t impressed nor was I disappointed. It was just mediocre in taste and it didn’t leave me wanting for more and running back in the near future. The service in this particular location was slow and the dining room didn’t look to be well taken care of. The employees didn’t seem to go out of their way for customers and the bathroom was also dirty. The toilet also did not flush in the men’s room. Not the best first impression overall and I hope this location doesn’t represent the others.

So after a nine hour drive, and having nothing else open(it is a Sunday) we decided to give this place a try. First of all, the open sign was turned off when it was only 8:45 and the sign said they closed at 10 pm. We ordered a meal and a grilled cheese for my picky three-year-old. It was made with the heals of the bread. The customer service was horrible. A bunch of rude teenagers that didn’t want anything to do with us. Never going to firehouse subs again.

Not a one star because the sandwich didn’t suck. I think this Firehouse Subs held auditions for slowest sandwich makers and hired the winners. I walked in an optimistic 12 year old with dreams of a Turkey Club. I write this now, five minutes after receiving my sandwich with the shaking, arthritis-ridden hands that accompany my 84 years on planet earth. If I was dying of hunger in the middle of the desert and I had ten dollars, then I saw this F.S.s, I would eat the ten dollars.

Great sandwich and bread. It’s not that there is something authentic about this place it is just very good. Staff was nice. Service quick and the place was clean. Only comment would be that I wish it were bigger for more seating.

Firehouse is my go to sandwich shop. Their food is always fresh and delicious, sweet tea on point, and their meat is to die for. Service is always fast and helpful, and they have a killer hot sauce bar. What more could you ask for? Sometimes it can take a bit for your sandwich to be made if they are very busy, but trust me it’s worth the wait.

My meatball sandwich was wonderful. Everything I’d want in this type of sub. Plenty of cheese and a delicious red sauce. Service was friendly and helpful. My only complaint is the time it took to make the sub. I always give the benefit of the doubt however. I arrived as the only customer in line. The time was shortly after they opened and perhaps they were not quite set up yet. Will definitely be back.

Personally I don’t think I’m very picky but I wasn’t a very big fan of what I ordered this evening. My husband and I split two different subs so we could try a few things here. I did the #10 and it was called a something brisket. It was okay. Would I order it again not likely. However the reason I decided to try this place Is because my grandparents are on obsessed with this place and swear by it and that’s what they told me to order. Next we ordered the #7 again it was okay. My husband didn’t think there was enough meat and I noticed there was a few particals in the meat. Not sure if it was grissel or fat or both… However the staff was very friendly. Place was very clean. Lots of parking… And It was pretty quick service and the food was hot! Would I come back not likely. But I guess it wasn’t bad and maybe you will like it. It’s still better then subway!

Very consistent quality. Sandwich was warm and satisfying. I left pleased. Plus it stayed open until 9 pm which was hard to find around here. The service was friendly and the girl taking our orders made polite conversation. I got the club on a sub. Always a great classic.

I am quite pleased with Firehouse! I have to start out by saying I’ve tried this place up in SLC and didn’t get it.. . St George, you have it going on! I meet my wife and family here for lunch and the value was great. I couldn’t believe how fast they were! Huge lunch line during a busy spring day in St George and they handled the crowd without problems. Our food came out piping hot, fresh and great portions. The soda machine was a fun touch. My wife has returned many times since our first visit. We have had nothing but great experiences here. The staff even gave my baby boy a fire hat on one trip! Going back to the value, you wont get more bang for your buck at any other sub places, I strongly believe this! To add a cherry to the top of this amazing restaurant’s review, I was at a local ice-cream joint. The line was NOT moving and I was getting bugged. The nice lady behind us with a melting ice-cream cake asked«whats going on up there?» My wife and I let her in front of us. She was so sweet and funny as we talked in line. As she paid she handed us what looked like two business cards and said thank you. She said«sometimes it pays to be friendly and let people in front of you inline.» She then told us the She and her husband owned Firehouse. She had given us 2 free meals. FIREHOUSESUBS, YOUHAVE A CUSTOMERFORLIFE!

First timer here at firehouse, and I am sold. The hook and ladder sandwich was excellent. The heated meat on the toasted bun is a super good combo and I don’t know what part taste the best really, but all together it was superb. Definitely recommend a firehouse sub. Blows subway or port of subs out of the water.

I absolutely love this place! The subs are so flavorful and loaded with meat unlike subway where you basically are eating cardboard for bread. They have a great selection of sandwiches and salads. Loving their new Hearty and Flavorful menu. Also ll if the employees are helpful and awesome. I totally recommend this place especially if you have a big appetite.

This is a horrible lay out of a place. And the veggie sandwich was a complete rip off. Just lettuce, tomatoes, and peppers. Waste.

I like the chain. Hate this location. No regular promotions of the other chains. Warm fountain drinks. Bad service. Dirty bathrooms. All the soresens chili sauce bottles were empty. Poorly ran, poor quality.

Doorbell ringing as we walked in the door, spotting the firehose décor. Sandwich was a mess of yummy chhesy goodness. the drink selection machine left me options of every soda with every flavor you can think of. Employess were enjoyable, giving the kids firehats was a nice touch. There is also counter of hot sauce flavors from hot to hottest. watch out for Daves hot sauce. whew. i would have given this place a 5 but when you walked there was dirty floors everywhere. and girls who had free time to clean it. There isnt a 4 ½ either.

Yum! Third time here and each time equally delicious! Meatball sub is excellent. Hubby likes the Engineer. So far I like Club on a Sub best– but all have been great! They give a free sandwich on your birthday too. Love that!

I went to Firehouse Sub for my first time today. My initial impression was that $ 8.68 was a lot for just a sub. However, it was really good. I got a #10 which was some sort of 12″ BBQ beef brisket. The meat was high quality, not the type you would find at subway. I didn’t buy a drink but they had a really cool Coke machine that mixed flavors to create up to 120 options. Pretty sweet setup.

Hey that is a better than average sub sandwich. Bread was fresher and warm. Sandwich was loaded. Better options and choices than the other chain subs
