This is another municipal course in st. george and is a great course. its small(only 9 holes) but quite demanding and located in a beautiful location at the base of the red cliffs around north bluff and red hills parkway. It is very well taken care of with quite a bit of water and some unique holes. If I remember, its a bit cheaper than other courses as well, but that could have changed. Anyway, a great course to go for a quick 9 and highly recommended.

I don’t know if another course can match the pure beauty of Dixie Red Hills. The emerald green grass that abuts and the red hills of St. George is an amazing contrast. The course is in great condition. The fairways are are relatively divot free and the greens are pure. The only thing I really had an issue with is that some of the tee boxes are less than level. The greens were really slow, but that’s because they were watering in preparation for the afternoon heat. I’m sure they’re much faster later in the day. Overall this is an excellent course. Good value. Not too hard, not too easy. A great place for anyone to get in quick nine. Ultimately, this is the best municipal course I’ve ever played.

Good little golf course. More Demanding than you would think. It has nice carts, friendly staff and is cheap. They tend to water at weird hours and the greens are blazing fast, but it is a really nice golf course, especially for the money.

29 Years ago I learned to play golf at this course. 23 years ago was the last time I played here. I have always had fond memories. This weekend my wife and I were in St. George for my 20th high school reunion, while the reunion was fine it was not the highlight of the trip. That fact that we played golf everyday was. Red Hills is a great par 34, 9 hole course with wonderful velveteen greens and a beautiful backdrop. When we walked around the corner to the green at #3 a fox walked slowly across the green and into the red hills behind it. This course has been around since 1965 and is well established with nice shade trees a meandering creek and one water feature. The driving range is smaller, but not heavily used and you play among the red rocks the entire time. It is an easy play and a lot of fun.
