Dr. Mangum and his staff are beyond worthy of this 5-star rating. Since my accident, I have noticed marked improvement in how I feel and I can attribute this to the knowledgable and friendly, welcoming staff at this practice. They go out of their way to make us feel welcome, respected, and taken care of, and are very adept at all they do. We never feel rushed or as if we are just another dollar sign, as so many doctors do. I highly recommend them for all of your chiropractic and massage therapy needs.
Dr. Mangum is very gentle and even my children feel comfortable receiving treatment from him – excellent bedside manner with all ages. He really takes the time to actually listen and engage with us, and genuinely is concerned for our wellbeing, which to me, is most important of anything. I have seen so many doctors that are in such a hurry that I feel they didn’t even hear what I have said, but SO not the case here! Very refreshing to find such excellent care in this day and age! I drive for over an hour to come here, and they are well worth it by far.

I had my 1^st visit to Dr. Jared this week and I already know he is a 5 star practitioner.
How you may ask?
1) His bedside manner allows everyone to feel comfortable; men, women, young, old. You are not hurried along. Your treatment is completely customized to you & your particular needs. He takes the time to explain techniques and the reasons behind their useage. Monitoring during your treatment your level of comfort with a color code scale much better than the numeric one (1 – 10).
2) He isnt a money hungry Dr looking for every way to milk you or your insurance for the almighty dollar.
3) He is unique in offering medical massage as well as chiropractic adjustments. These two modalities should seemingly go together but he is the first I have encountered.
I suffer from chronic neck pain due to a car accident 15 yrs ago plus way too stress that I apparently enjoy placing on myself. I look forward to being pain free and believe I am on my way with my treatment at A Balanced Life Chiropractic!
Do yourself a favor and go visit Dr. Jared. We could all use an adjustment!

I feel great. Dr. Jared Mangum has helped me so much with my neck issues and helped relieve the pain. I really like that he is a massage therapist and a chiropractor and he will take the time to loosen me up before the adjustment. Dr. Mangum took his time with me and wasn’t about the snap crackle pop and then sent me on my way. Very knowledgeable and genuinely cared about me.
